Chapter 5: Family Past and Finally the mall

*Madeline's POV*
I woke up a minute before we got home and got out of the car.
"I'm going to take a shower then I am going to finish with my past story because I admit I kind of left a few important parts out." I said as everyone nodded, so we got in the house and I went to my room and took a shower. I got out throwing on a nirvana T-shirt, grey sweat pants putting my hair into a messy bun and taking out my contacts and putting in my glasses. I grabbed my iPod and going down stairs. Everyone was on the clutch and dad pulled me into his lap.
"Okay I'm guessing you guys want to know from the beginning," I took a deep breathe and began" it started when I was four, my mom past away and my dad blamed me. He beat me, he's raped me, he made me his sex slave from 5 to 10. Age 6 me and my brother Cody, you guys know him as counter boy at Starbucks, I asked to play a game with him, my dad talked him into raping me and that's what happened he raped me along with my dad for years on end. Age 7 my dad threw me in school, I got bullied because of what I wore and what music I listened to. Age 8 my dad got drunk every night, during the day he would rape me then leave for the night and have my brother rape me. At age 9 I could take it anymore." I got up taking off my shirt and pants showing my burns,scars, and bruises that haven't disappeared. I pointed at the cuts on my wrists." I did these, at age nine I got these voices, my demons, telling me I'm worthless that I'm unloved and never would be loved." I pointed to the burns on my hips" dad would come home and if I disobeyed him in anyway he'd grab a lighter and burn me in my hips, then rape me." I points to the bruises on my legs," they haven't disappeared some don't I think they didn't for a reason. Reason is those bruises would always come back after my dad and brother were done." I pointed to the slash scar on my stomach," age 10 after my dad got done raping me he took his pocket knife and slashed my stomach, that's what Cody meant when he said he'll let dad kill me this time. Later that year my brother was at a friends and my dad was passed out on the couch, I took my chance and I ran and didn't stop until I bumped into Abby she took me in and had my brother and dad arrested. At age 11 I was adopted, they were just like my old family, the mom would always be at work and never home, the dad would get drunk and abuse me, and the brother was just like my brother he raped me," I pointed to a scar on my back," this was from my adoptive dad he threw a broken bottle at me and it hit my back. I told the mom about my past and she was supportive but when I mentioned her family did it she sent me back because she didn't believe me." I was in tears and so was everyone else. " I am not done, my brother is out and that means my dad is to. Dad called when my brother had me pinned. Cody mentioned that he found me. I am in danger and my dad won't stop until he gets what he wants. That is me. And you guys are to I know it." I said throwing my shirt back on and my pants.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry that was your life." Dad said pulling me into hug. That I gladly accepted.
"It's okay dad." I said quickly pulling away and gasping. I just called him dad. He smiled though.
*Ashton's POV*
When she told me her past I started to cry. I felt bad for her. She shouldn't have gone threw that and now not only in her dad but I'm her protecter and always will be.
"Oh my god, i am so sorry that was your life" I said pulling her into a hug.
"It okay,dad" she said. I went into shock, she called me dad she never called me dad, but I like it. She pulled away and gasped. I started to smile and pulled her into another hug.
"It's okay to call me dad I was just surprised for a second" I said as we let go and all the other guys hugged her. I know she has a brotherly sisterly connection with all three of them and I find that good, she needs it.
"So who's up for the mall?" I asked and everyone agree.
*Maddie's POV*
I threw in my purple vans and fixed my glasses. We all piled into the car and drove.
*skip car ride*
"So what store first?" Dad asked.
"Um can we go to the Apple Store and get my phone?" I asked as he laughed and nodded. We headed there and I got a Mac Book, a iPhone 6, and chargers.
"Okay where to next?" Luke asked as I said Forever 21. We went in and I bought 5 crop tops. One saying idiot, one saying Greenday, one saying I ❤️ Nutella, just a plain blue and green one, and one saying 🖕🖕. I got more bracelets and earrings and phone cases. I got two pairs of sweatpants and 5 sweat shirts over head and zippered.
"It's five do you want to go to dinner or do you want to continue shopping?" Calum asked. I was about to answer until I heard this high pitched scream.
"Omg omg omg, your 5 seconds of Summer can I have your autograph?" She asked completely ignoring my presence, don't get me wrong I kind of like it because then it means that I don't have to deal with hate.
"Sure" Michael answered as they all took pictures with her.
"Now I have one tiny question" she said looking at me and glaring then back at the boys." Who the hell is she?" I looked at her and I swear I was about to rip her throat out.
"She is my adoptive daughter and her name is Maddie hopefully if your a real fan you will accept it." Dad said wrapping and arm around my shoulders.
"Okay I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, and that's cool by the way I'm Addison." Addison said as I waved a little. I guess jealousy got the best of her and she didn't mean it.
"Can I have your phone number?" She asked me and I gave her my phone as I took hers.
"Thank you" she said waving off.
"Well you took it better then I thought" Michael said laughing and I laughed with.
"Oh no I wanted to rip her throat out but once I realized it was jealousy then I figured not to and also lets go to dinner" I said as we all went to the food court. We all ordered what we wanted and went to a booth.
"So where do you want to go after dinner ?" Dad asked as I thought about it.
"Um Payless to get shoes then I was wondering if I could get new bangs?" I asked with a smile.
"Yeah that works then home?" He asked as I nodded. We got done and headed to Payless. I bought 5 vans, 3 high tops, 4 converses, and 2 toms, and 1 pair of running shoes. We were all tired so we agreed I will just get my hair done tomorrow and we went home.
