Chapter 13: Plans and Concerts

*night of there concert Maddie's POV*
It was the night of the concert and the plan is going great. All of our managers agreed to it. I took a shower before we got here and Lou helped me with my hair. I curled it while she highlighted it.(like the photo) I then changed into a mint green skater dress were the top part is patterned and the bottom is plain with a black belt around the waist. I threw on a denim jacket and black wedged shoes.(again like the photo) I put on mascara and eyeliner. I knocked in the guys dressing room and they let me in.
"Uh Madeline?"
"I know the scars but if they are going to understand my songs they have to understand me." I said as Harry nodded.
"I wasn't gonna point them out I was just gonna say your beautiful." I hugged him then the rest of the boys. A security man walked in.
"5 sos and Miss Irwin your on in two." He said as we said okay.
"Let's do this. I got Jimmy on the plain yesterday so he is here and he said if my song is good I still got an album and a tour." I said as we walked out. Ashton got on stage as smoke came threw. Then, Michael then Calum, Luke, then me.
" hello LA! So you guys are going to hear 5sos open for one direction, but I am opening for 5sos. Don't worry it's just one song. This is called Animal I've become." I said as everyone cheered. Ashton counted of as Luke and Michael played there guitar duet. A few seconds later Calum played his chords. Time for my lyrics.

(This animal I have become)" I got done and everyone cheered I hugged the boys and went to walk off but I got booed. I felt bad now because the boys are supposed to open. I walked back.
"Listen I love that you guys love my music, but I promise when I'm on tour you guys will see me perform again right now it's 5sauses turn." I said as everyone booed. I felt even worse. I looked at the boys and lipped "start" as I walked off stage. The second they started everyone cheered again. I changed into a sweatshirt and sweat pants and threw on black high tops. I walked over to Lou and hugged her then went and watched the boys behind stage. When they were done they came running back stage.
"Sorry guys I didn't expect the fans to do that." I said as they waved me off and said that was alright.
"Yeah but I felt bad because it was you guys that had to open and I basically almost stole that." I soda as dad hugged me and Luke and the boys said it was okay.
"Anyway I have to go see Jimmy. I'll be right back." I left and found Jimmy.
"Hey Jimmy did you like it?"
"Yeah it was awesome! But I didn't like the part where you told the fans that you couldn't sing anymore."
" I know it was only planned for one song and I felt bad for the fans and the boys. I mean they are the ones that was suppose to open not me but I guess I can see where you mad at it." I said sighing.
"Well at least you can keep that promise. You have yourself a tour after the album sells again." He said as I tackled him into a hug.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" I yelled as I let go he nodded and walked off. I was so excited that I ran all the way back to the back stage. I jumped on Mikey's back as he caught me.
"Guess what guess what guess what?" I asked in complete excitement.
"What?" Michael said laughing setting me down.
" I have a tour after my albums sell!" I said as they congratulated me. I got a text. I was confused but looked at it anyway.
'Hey I dunno if you remember me, but it's Jordan. We used to hangout at age 3 before the past happened. I just wanted to say you did an awesome job' I kind of remember him.
'I do remember you a little but I wanna meet up. How about Starbucks at 10 tomorrow? The one by Hollywood Park?' ( idk if it's a thing just go wit it)
'Yeah that works'
'Okay can't wait' I said as I shut my phone off. I went to Harry as they ran off stage.
"Harry do you know a Jordan?"
"Yeah you two were the cutest little people ever! Literally I thought you two had like little kid crushes. Why?"
"Well he as here and hit me up. I just don't really remember him" he nodded.
"You will when you see him." I nodded and hugged all the guys.
"Can we go home in tired?" I said as I rubbed my eyes. They nodded as we left and headed home. We got home and I fell asleep instantly on someone's bed. I'm too tired to care.
*5 hours later*
I woke up because I had to pee. But I wasn't the only one in the bed. I turned around and saw Zayn. I didn't really care because we were all family. I passed out again.
*8 am*
I woke up and saw that it was 8 am. I got up and saw Zayn still sleeping. I walked out and saw everyone still asleep. I walked into my room and pulled out my outfit for the day. It was a Nirvana crop top, jean shorts, a "dope" beanie, black converses, and gray head phones. I hopped in the shower and got out. I put the clothes on adding Nirvana bracelets to it.(the outfit in the photo just without the nail polish). I brushed the my hair and straightened it. I checked the time and it was 9:50. I ran downstairs and saw that everyone was still asleep. So I left a note.
'Hey went to Starbucks to meet an old friend! Be home at noon!

I ran to Starbucks and walk in. I saw this kid with brown messy hair and bright blue eyes. He was looking at his phone typing something as I walked up to the counter.
"Hello can I have an ice coffee please?" I asked as the girl told me the total. I gave her the money and name, when my phone went off.
'Look to you right'
I looked and the kid with brown hair and blue eyes was standing next to me. I jumped.
"Oh shit! Jordan?" I asked as he nodded. We hugged as memories came threw.
"Maddie! I missed you so much!" I nodded.
"Yeah I missed you too. Wanna go sit." He nodded as we sat down.
" so what brings you to LA?" Jordan asked.
"Dads touring"
"Your dads in a band?"
"Oh shit that's right! No I'm adopted by Ashton Irwin from 5sos. Uh Drew and Cody dos some super bad things to me over the years eventually I got put into orphanage and now I was adopted. Recently my dad and brother got put in jail along with my ex boyfriend. Who help them." I explained as he took my hand and rubbed it. I heard my name so I got up and got my drink then came back.
"So tell me about yourself" he said as I thought about it.
" I like the color mint green I like punk rock music like Green Day, Nirvana, Buck Cherry, One republic, Cold Play, and a lot more. I sing, dance, play the piano, guitar, dads been teaching me the drums, and I like to draw." I said as he nodded.
"That reminds me... Your awesome and I love your music." He said as I said thank you. "I like the color red, same taste in music just adding Nickel back and likin Park. I like to play the bass, I love to draw and I have a 5 year old sister." He said as I nodded.
"So how have you been?" I asked.
"Good. Mom misses you so much. Dad left when Kayla was born, so now I'm her idol." He said as I gave him a sympathetic look.
"Uh um I saw you scars. I know it's not my business to push but if you ever need anyone to talk to I'm always here." Said as I sighed and showed him the butterflies.
"I can't kill them if I do I kill my family. You are my family now, and I'm not killing you." I soda as we laughed at how weird that sounded but he understood.
"Good. So what do you want to do?" Jordan asked.
"We could walk around." I suggested as he nodded. We went on our walk and he's so fun to be around with. The minute I saw him he made me happy. This is the first time in a long ass time someone got me to smile and laugh for real and not for fake.
"Maddie?"
"Yes?"
"What happens when you leave?"
"I continue the tour with my dad. Then a couple months later I start my own and I'll talk to Jimmy to see if you can tag along on my tour. He's like my second dad next to Ashton. Drew is literally just another person in and out of my life." I said as he nodded. I stopped in my tracks after Jordan did. There was this guy beating a little girl.
"Kayla?!" Jordan yelled running toward it as I tagged a long. I ran faster then Jordan because I was that little girl when I was younger and I'm not witnessing it. As the guy when to swing I grabbed his fist down.
"Stop you son of a bitch!" I yelled as he hit me. I had it I tackled him. I got on top of him and let the demons take control. Next thing I knew I was screaming in pain. He grabbed my fist and twisted it back. I heard a crack and he broke my wrist.
"Jordan!" I yelled in pain. The guy held me up letting go of my wrist and grabbing my neck. Jordan tackled him to the ground as I fell and gasped for air. Jordan and the guy were in a fist fight as the little girl ran to me and hugged me.
"Thank you" she said as I hugged her close to me and called my dad.
"Madeline? Are you okay?"
"No come to Hollywood Park and hurry call the police! I'll explain later." I soda as dad said okay and we hung up. Jordan knocked the guy out as he ran up to us.
"Are you okay Kayla?" He asked pulling his sister in a hug.
"No h-he k-killed mommy." She cried as Jordan started to cry.
"Jordan I'm so sorry!" I pulled him into a hug along with his sister as we heard my name and sirens.
"Maddie?"
"Dad!" I said as I got up and pulled him into a hug.
"Are you okay?"
"I could be better and my wrist is broken."
"What happened?" Dad asked as Jordan and Kayla walked up to us.
"Dad this is Jordan and Kayla. His dad killed there mom and was about to swing at Kayla. I lost all control again and I attack him because I was her when I was younger I was not about to witness again. Anyway he broke my wrist and choked me. That's when Jordan knocked him out." I explained as a cop was listening to it.
"How old are you Jordan?" The policemen asked.
"13 Mame" she sighed. No.
"You guys are going to have to go to an orphanage."
"No you can't separate me from Kayla we can't leave each other please." Jordan begged as I pulled him into a hug.
"I'm sorry but it's the law." Wait what about Harry.
"Wait can they be adopted?" I asked as dad looked at me confused as the cop nodded.
"I think we know some one who will adopt them."
"Uh we? I'm not adopting another child let al-" I cut him off.
"Not you! I'm talking about Harry. He's always talking about how much he wants a little girl and he loves Jordan as family anyway." I explained as he nodded and walked away to call Harry.
"You two are going to be okay, I'll make sure of it!" I said pulling both into a hug.
"Thank you Maddie." Jordan said in the hug. I will do anything for these two. Dad came back.
"He said................."
