Chapter 7: Tour and Boyfriend

*1 month later*
*Maddison's POV*
I woke up to a nightmare about my dad. I'm going to catch you up. The last month I have been getting unknown texts and calls. I ignore all of it, but now it's getting bad. My anxiety level is getting higher. I'm scared my old dad is still looking for me. My depression level is still high, but at least I can say I'm one month off of cutting. I couldn't get the nightmare off my mind so I went to the bathroom and took a shower. I shampooed my hair with more strawberry lemonade scented shampoo. I conditioned my hair with strawberry scented conditioner. I didn't want to get out yet so I stood in the shower until the hot water turned cold.
I got out and put back on my over head American apparel sweatshirt and my yogas. I put my hair into a messy bun leaving my bangs on my face. I got back into bed and fell asleep.
*4 hours later*
I woke up again. Thank god the second time was a nightmare free dream. I went downstairs and Dad and my uncles were talking. I didn't know what about so I walked into the kitchen and took out orange juice and poured me some.
"Hey Maddie we have news to tell you." Dad said standing beside me.
"Okay I'll see you in the living room just let me make toast" I said as he nodded and went to the living room. I got done making my breakfast and walked into the living room and sat next to Calum.
"So what's the news?" I asked as dad scratched the back of his neck.
"So you know how we're in a band right?" Michael asked as I nodded.
"Well we have to go on tour." Luke said as I nodded taking it all in.
"And we don't know if you can come with" dad said as I immediately stopped eating and stared at him.
"We're trying to get management to let us take you, but they just don't see it as a good idea." Calum said as I nodded still processing it.
"How long is the tour and when is it?" I asked and dad gave me an apologized look.
" in two weeks and for two months." Dad said as once I again I just stopped and stared. Then my phone went off. I unlocked it and what the text said scarred me more then the others.
U= I will find you, rape you, then kill you so have fun with your family
I was on the verge of tears. I looked up at dad and gave him a scared look then I shot up and ran upstairs to my room. I shut and locked the door. I chucked my phone in the bed and started pacing around the room. Putting my hands threw my hair while balling. I'm scared, no scratch that I'm fucking terrified. My phone went off again and I looked at it.

"Dad?" I yelled as I chucked my phone at the wall. I couldn't take it I'm beyond frightened. Then next thing I new darkness.
*Ashton's POV*
What the hell? She looked super scared and I new it wasn't because of the news. I looked at the guys and they all shrugged.
"You don't think it was because of the news was it?" I asked running a hand threw my hair.
"No she looked fine until the text" Calum said as I looked at him.
"Did you read it." I asked and he shook his head. I was going to say something but then we heard this high pitched scream saying dad. So I shot up and ran to Maddie's room.
"Madeline open the door" I heard a thud. "Shit! Luke go get the key" I yelled as he ran and got it then came back and unlocked the door. I barged in and found her phone broken by the wall and Maddie in the ground. I ran to Maddie and gently slapped her to see if she'd wake up. She didn't budge.
"What do I do?" I looked over at Michael and them. They shrugged. So I just picked her up bridal style and put her in the bed and kissed her forehead. She's got a lot of explaining to do.
*Madison's POV*
I woke up in my bed. I now know I have to explain to them about the texts but because my phones broken I don't know if they will believe me. I'm scared. So I got up and walked downstairs and saw all of them in the living room. Dad was the first one to see me.
"Hey come sit babe" dad said as I sat next to him.
"I'm sorry I should have to you a month ago, but I didn't think it would get worse" I broke down as me and him bare hugged. And everyone was now watching and listening.
"What happened" Michael asked as I let go of the hug and looked down at my hands.
"Cody and Drew" I whispered as they all looked at me.
"What did they do?" Dad asked as he already have fists forming.
"They texted me threats and at first it was we will find you, but as the month pasted it got worse. The last text said "I will find you, rape you, and kill you" then "see you soon my daughter" that's when I known that it was Drew and Cody." I said tears streaming down my face.
"Aw baby come here" Luke said as I walked over to him and cuddled with him.
"I'm scared" I said as dad looked even more pissed.
"He won't get you. We will not let him" Calum said as I looked at everyone.
"Yeah but what about your guys tour and my school. Drew can get me then when I have no one to protect me." I said as dad looked even more pissed and walked out of the house slamming the door. I flinched at the bang. I started crying harder.
"Sh, baby no one going to take you and hurt you. No matter what management says you coming with and fuck school you can take it online. Ashton is just mad he'll be fine. Okay baby?" Luke said as I nodded cuddling more into him. I got up and walked up stairs grabbing my journal and going back downstairs.
"Weirdest question I would never think I'd ask, but Um you wouldn't mind if I um sang one of my songs in the music room right?" I asked looking down because that is truly the weirdest question I'd ever had asked.
"You don't have to ask but yes you can" Mikey said as I nodded and went downstairs. I was in the middle of my song when dad came downstairs.
"Hey baby I'm sorry I scared you earlier. I didn't mean to I was just mad, but what Luke said yes we are taking you with no matter what and your going online for school." He said giving me a hug as I nodded.
"I'm sorry I didn't come sooner I should have." I said as he nodded.
"By the way I don't know his name, but brown hairs and hazel eyed kid is here for you." He said giggling.
"That sums it up, but because I'm still writing my song send him down" I said laughing as he went upstairs and Zack came downstairs.
"Hey Zack" I said giving him a hug. Me and him grew close. And dad refuses to know his name because he doesn't want me to date Zack. Considering the shit of my past and shit.
"Hey what you doing?" He said
"Um writing a song" I said as he read some of it.
"It sounds cool can you sing it" he asked and I shook my head.
"Um no because my 13 birthday is coming up in 5 days I'm singing it then" I said as he nodded.
"Want to go to Starbucks?" Zack offered and I nodded. We headed up stairs and I walked to my dad.
"Hey dad um you know how your my favorite dad and I love you so so so mu-" he cut me off.
"Yes Maddie"
"Can I go to Starbucks with Zack?" I asked and he looked at me then Zack then me again and sighed.
"I guess so but no funny business." He said glaring at Zack.
"Dad I promise no funny business will happen." I said grabbing my iPod and money. Me and Zack left walking towards Starbucks.
"So how come you haven't been answering your phone?" Zack asked as I thought about what to say.
"It broke, I dropped it and now it won't turn on" I said as he nodded. We got there and Cody was working. My stomach churned and I felt a lump grow in my throat. We walked up to the counter and I ignored Cody.
"What do you want?" Zack said noticing my nervousness he grabbed my hand and slightly rubbed it.
"Uh um a ice coffee" I said as Zack gave Cody the name and we went and sat down still holding hands.
"Thank you" I said as he gave me a curiously look.
"Psychotic brother" I said as he made an "o" shape. His name got called and went and got the drinks. We drank in complete silence but it wasn't awkward. It was more comforting. We got done and walked towards the door as I felt someone staring. I turned around and saw Cody glaring at me. I felt scared and grabbed Zack's hand. He rubbed it knowing it was because of Cody. We got back to my house and we got inside still holding hands. I called for my dad and uncles but there was no answer until I saw a note on the counter.
' management called for a meeting, be back but dinner if not there's money in the counter order pizza. Sorry love you baby

I sighed and walked to the living room still holding hands with Zack.
"So what do you want to do?" I asked as we sat next to each other. So close that outlet legs are touching. I notice he started to lean I and I did to. My breath hitched as we were like a millimeter away. I closed my eyes as I felt his lips on my mine. He pulled back and smiled and I did the same.
"Maddie I know we only have known each other for a month, but the first day we met I felt as if we were connected and all this month I was being drawn to you. I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend." He said smiling as I kissed him in a slow passionate kiss.
"I'll take that as a yes" Zack said laughing.Zack and I decided to have a cuddle and movie day. We were about half way threw The Maze Runner when we heard the front door open.
"We're back" I heard dad say as I noticed Zack asleep so I slowly got up to not wake him but he tightened his grip around me making me giggle.
"Zack," I whined," my dads back I have to get up" I said as he slowly woke up and let go. Making me giggle and kissing his cheek. I got up and walked into the kitchen. But no was here and I didn't see anyone walk the to the living room.
"Dad?" I yelled and no answer. Wth?
"Hello my daughter" I know that voice anywhere. Drew?next thing I knew I was being pushed to the wall. He locked his lips in my neck as tears were streaming my face.
"Stop help Zack help" I yelled but Zack wasn't in the living room. I looked around and notice it was Drew sucking my neck it was Zack. "Zack stop!" He didn't budge.
I shot up and notice it was just a nightmare. I felt weight on my waist as I looked and saw Zack. I took my iPod off the table and noticed it was 10pm.
Michael walked downstairs smiling and laughing lightly.
"Shut up! How long was I out" I whispered because I didn't want to go threw the "Maddie's got a bf" thing.
"I don't know we got here and you two were out." Michael said as my eyes grew wide. Dad?
"Wh-what dad do?" I asked hoping he wasn't mad.
"Nothing he was happy about it, but he does want to talk to Zack in the morning" Michael said leaving and gave me a wink. Omg my dad is gonna kill him. Then I cuddled into Zack and fell back asleep.
*Ashton's POV*
Madeline left about twenty minutes before a got a call.
"Hello"
"Hello it's Dave" management.
"Yes Dave"
"We have a meeting, come asap it is important" he said as I sighed and said okay.
"Yo we got a meeting come on" I said writing a note to Maddie. We all piled in the car and got there. We walked into the room and sat were we usually sit.
"So what is important?" Michael asked as Dave satiated to talk.
"Your tour is in two weeks. Your first stop is America. Then Canada,Mexico,Europe,Then home" Dave said as we all nodded knowing this.
"Okay we know that." Luke said.
"Yes what you don't know is that me and the rest of the management talked and we agreed on letting your daughter Madeline come with." He said flashing a smile and we all cheered.
"Good because I was literally going to put her in a box and ship her where we go"Michael said as we all laughed.
"Is that all?" Calum asked.
"No when you go to America you opening for one direction again then Canada Hey Violet! Then your done with openings and the Vamps will open you guys in Europe." Dave said as we all again cheered then we shook hands with him and left. We packed in the car again and headed home.
I opened the door and walked in.
"We're back" I yelled walking into the living room and freezing as the rest of the guys walk up to me.
"Awe there so cute" Michael said as I shot a glare at him.
"Well they are. Ashton we've known this kid for a month he won't hurt her." Luke said patting my back and going upstairs.
"I just don't like how she's growing up" I said as Calum just laughed a little.
"She will always be you baby girl even when your dead and she's 80" I thought about it.
"Yeah I guess you right they are cute. I'm going to sleep but if she wakes up tell her tomorrow I'm talking to him" I said walking upstairs as they said sure.
*Morning:Maddie's POV*
"Aw there so fucking adorable." I heard Mikey say as I heard a snap making me groan.
"Go away" I said cuddling more into Zack.
"Awe that so fucking cute." Luke said as I flipped him off.
"Hey know swearing or swear signs." Dad said making me laugh then I got up a little and look at Zack.
"Zack let me go I have to pee." He tightened his grip and said no making me giggle." Zack I'll pee on you." I said laughing as he let go. I walked to the bathroom doing my business. I got out and Zack was now up. Damn he is hot in the morning. His hair is in every direction. His eyes are still closed making me laugh a little.
"Good morning babe." I said sitting in his lap as he sat his head on my shoulder probably falling asleep again.
"Good morning Maddie" Zack said wrapping his arms around my waist.
"My dad needs to talk to you." I said getting up and I swear his eyes went wide like he saw a ghost.
"Don't worry he won't kill you.....yet" I said as he looked at me hearing the word yet making me laugh. I walked into the kitchen as dad was making breakfast. I walked up to him.
"Good morning daddy." I said as he said it back and my uncles stumbled in along with Zack. I grabbed two plates walking over to Zack and kissing his cheek. "Good morning babe" I said handing him his plate. He sat on a stool as I sat on his lap. My dad was eyeing as causing me to blush.
"Maddie we have news to tell you and it's good and bad" he said as I looked at him. Please don't tell me I'm going to be right on this.
"Good news is your coming with us on tour bad news is no boyfriend," he said pointing at Zack," two reasons managements said only you and two I wouldn't even allow it if they said yes" I froze in my seat. Half of me was happy as hell but half of me didn't want to leave Zack. I looked at Zack as he looked at me.
"I'm happy I'm coming with but I don't want to leave Zack" I said turning to look at my dad as he sighed.
" I know but you guys can hangout 24/7 until we leave." He said as I nodded and leaned back in Zack's chest.
"Can I talk to Zack alone?" I asked as everyone left and dad kissed my forehead leaving. I got down from his lap and looked at him.
"Zack I'm sorry" I said looking down.
"What for?"
"I have to go. But idk why I'm sorry, I guess it's because I'm leaving the day after we're dating." I said looking at him as a single tear left my eye.
"This isn't good bye. Mads we can still date it's just going to have to be long distance for a while." Said kissing me in a slow passionate kiss. I let go smiling a little.
"Promise me this. When I'm gone you won't forget or leave me." I said as he nodded.
"I never planned it and never will. I love you and only you." He said pulling me into a hug.
"I love you too Zack." Hugging him back."you know this isn't the only talk your getting to day right?" I did giggling letting go of the hug.
"Yeah I know, send him in" Zack said as I walked into the living room.
"Your turn" I said pointing at dad as he got up and sat in his spot and sighed." Hey dad can u do me a favor and not break or kill my boyfriend yet?" I said as he nodded and laughed.
