Chapter 50

*First person pov*

The blades plunged into my flesh. I cough up blood and my blood seeps out of my wound and onto the ground. "CIEL!!!!!" Shikamaru and Keiko yell at the same time. I smile to myself. Heh... it's nice to know I was able to do something right before I die... Idiot!! You're going to live!!! The wind dragon slayer magic heals, stopping the blood and I pull out the scythe. Hidan laughs maniacally. "How does it feel!? Huh!? That's what you get for stabbing my dick faggot!!!" Hidan yells, clearly happy. "How... I feel...?" I say as I fall to my knees. "I guess you can say... *Cough*.... I'm..... Happy...." I tell him, smiling still. Keiko slaps the back of my head lightly. "You idiot...! You're.... You're going to live!!!" Keiko yells, tears streaming down her face. My wounds keep healing, at a fast rate since Okamia's chakra was healing me and I was using my magic. "I'm... happy.... I finally... able to... do something right..." I say as I fall to the floor, on my stomach. "At least.... I die... Knowing that Asuma.... can see his child and be able to be a father *Coughing violently*... because of my.... sacrifice..." I say, smiling but that didn't stop the tears streaming down my face. Asuma was looking at me shocked, probably that I knew of his child and I sacrificed myself. "CIEL!!" I hear Shikamaru, he looked like he wanted to run to me, but he needed to stop Hidan from harming Asuma or me. I'm losing consciousness.... "Heh... now that I'm on my dying breath.... I'm scared... I'm so scared..." I say as more tears stream down my face. Keiko holds my hand. "Keiko, baby... Let me see you..." I say as I try to search for Keiko with my eyes. "I'm right here mom... I'm always here..." Keiko says as she moves to my vision, she was crying her eyes out. "Keiko... I love you so much... please don't go looking for revenge....*Cough*.... Duckbutt has... and look where that lead him... Please... Live on...." I tell her as I touch her face weakly. Keiko takes her soft paw and holds my hand against her face. "Yes..." Keiko cries, tears hitting my hand. I smile softly, and fall into a slumber that I may not wake up from...

*Third person pov*

There was a silence settled among everyone. "CIEL!!!!!!!" Shikamaru yells, tears streaming down his face. "AHAHAHAHAHA!!!! HOW STUPID!!!! THAT'S WHAT YOU GET!!!" Hidan yells, while laughing like a maniac. Keiko flips Ciel on her back, putting her hands on her stomach. Keiko tears stream down her face as she gazed at Ciel's peaceful face. "Hidan, you weren't supposed to kill him. Now I have to deal with leader-sama. After I kill you, that is." Kakuzu says, narrowing his eyes at Hidan. "Heh! Like you can! Now, I have to kill this guy now." Hidan says, raising the rod to his heart. Shikamaru was utterly broken, he just sat there as he watched the rod gets near Hidan's heart, or rather, Asuma's heart. Asuma didn't make a move to stop Hidan from kill him, he was just regretful. He stared at Ciel's limp body. He thought about letting Hidan kill him, after all, it was his fault Ciel 'died.' Kotetsu and Izumo struggle against Kakuzu's grip, trying to save another life, but they knew they wouldn't be able to. As the rod was about to plunge, something stopped the rod. Keiko, flickered in front of Hidan and stopped the rod by stopping his arm. She glared up at everyone. "ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO STAND IDLY BY!? ARE YOU GOING TO LET YOURSELF SCUM TO THESE ASSHOLES!? ARE YOU GOING TO LET CIEL'S SACRIFICE BE IN VAIN!? NO!!!! I'M GOING TO FIGHT!!! I'M NOT LETTING CIEL'S SACRIFICE BE IN VAIN!!! ASUMA, ARE YOU SERIOUSLY NOT GOING TO DO ANYTHING!? CIEL SACRIFICED HERSELF SO YOU CAN LIVE TO BE A FATHER!!! WE'RE ALL GOING TO SURVIVE ALL OF THIS!!! WE'RE NOT DYING HERE.... WE HAVE PEOPLE TO LIVE FOR!!! IF YOU WANT TO SEE THOSE PEOPLE AGAIN... STAND UP DAMMIT!!! FIGHT ALREADY!!! WE'RE GOING TO LIVE TIL OUR DYING BREATH ON THE COMFORT OF OUR BEDS!!!! HURRY UP AND- ACKGAH!!!!" Keiko gets knocked away by Hidan. "Don't get in my way bitch!" Hidan yells. Keiko was knocked out, limp on the ground. Asuma stood up and glared at Hidan. "You asshole.... I'm going to kill you.... and avenge Ciel. I'm not going to let his sacrifice to be in vain." Asuma growls as he held up his knuckle blade. "Hehehe, like you can." Hidan says as he takes his rod and stabs his leg. You would assume that Asuma would fall and hold his leg in pain, but Asuma didn't make any move to. His face didn't have a pained expression, but more a furious expression. "Wh- What the hell!?" Hidan yells. Asuma charges at Hidan. "DIE!!! DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!!" Hidan yells as he stabs himself in the stomach repeatedly, but Asuma continued on. Asuma tackled Hidan out of the circle, and before Hidan hit the ground, Asuma dismembered Hidan's body so there was only a torso, arms, legs, and his head. Hidan's severed limbs and torso fall to the ground in a pile. Asuma was panting and fell to his knees, coughing up blood. "ASUMA!!!" Shikamaru yells as he tries to run for him but he falls, since he was already weak. "Shit, you asshole! Kakuzu!! Hurry up and sew me back up!!!" Hidan's head yells. "I'm almost done, and when I am, I'm going to kill you." Kakuzu says calmly. "Just hurry up you old money fuck!!!" Hidan yells. Shikamaru was silently sobbing on the ground. I'm so useless.... Ciel died... Asuma died... it's all my fault... Shikamaru thinks to himself, choking a sob. Shikamaru stands up and charges head first at Kakuzu. At this time, reinforcements quickly came. The retreated most of the members onto the building, but failed to retrieve Ciel's 'dead' body. The zombie duo was about to kill every single Konoha shinobi in the area but their leader called them to extract the sanbi, despite their protests. Kakuzu walked over to Ciel's body, and checked for a pulse. "Newbie is still alive, we can still save him and save a beating from leader." Kakuzu says as he picks Ciel up bridal style. "DON'T YOU TOUCH HER!!" Keiko, who was now conscious, yells. The zombie duo ignores her and disappears with Ciel. "Au revoir, shitheads!!" Hidan yells before disappearing. "NOOOO!" Keiko shouts as she squirms in a grip of a shinobi, but it was locked tight on her. Tears stream down Keiko's face, as she frantically tries to find some trace of the zombies, but none was visible. Asuma coughs up blood as Ino heals him. Tears stream across team 10's face as they watch Asuma. Ino's eyes widen and into relief and sadness. "He's... He's going to be okay.... He's going to live... but..." Ino trails off. "What?" Shikamaru asks. "He... may not be able to live on as and shinobi." Ino says, sorrowfully. "Is... that so...?" A weak voice asks. All heads turn to Asuma, who was now awake. "Yes..." Choji says, looking down. Asuma smiles, but tears ran down his face. "Why are you smiling?!" Shikamaru asks, shouting a little. "It's because... I'm alive.... I fulfilled Ciel's last wish..." Asuma says, smiling. "What...?" Ino asks. "Ciel knew... Ciel knew that I was having a child..." Asuma says as shock covers everyone's face. "As a person who has amnesia... A person who forgot a parent's love... He must have wanted my child to have a parent.... I know... I understand his feelings... and orphaned child like Naruto or one who doesn't know their past would be desperate to know a parent's love.... The wanting to be loved... I owe him so much... he gave me the chance to let me be a father... But I know that I won't be able to repay him... all I can do is live.... Shikamaru, please, save Ciel." Asuma says, sobbing a little. "Yeah..." Shikamaru says. If Ciel were here, she would have felt so bad for lying to everyone.... But then again, she is and orphan. Keiko thinks to herself. "Enough, Asuma-sensei... let me heal you." Ino says quietly as she continues healing Asuma. Ciel, don't worry, I'm coming to save you, just wait. Shikamaru thinks as he lights a cancer stick.
