Chapter 78

*First person pov*

I turn around to see the dragon that took away Flare. Not a second after, I was pinned to the floor by his large claw. "I told you to stay away from these people." He growls at the kids. Was he the one who taught the dragon slayer magic to some of these brats? I can see it happening. "We're sorry Jiji..." Erza apologizes for everyone. The dragon sighs then glares down at me. "We'll take you back as a prisoner." The dragon growls. I look over at Keiko, who was a few feet away. "What about Keiko? You're not going to leave her here, are you?" I ask the dragon. He scoffs. "I'm not cruel to all life forms you know. We'll bring that kitten with us." The dragon said as he picks me up with it's claw. I cross my arms. "I'm not complaining. I'll let you kidnap me, I might get all the answers I need." I said. Wendy picked Keiko up in her arms and cradled her. "Brats, get on my back. We're going back." The Dragon said and they obliged. Raijinshuu helped Laxus on the Dragon while Erza helped Gajeel. The dragon started flying. "Hey, mister dragon, what's your name?" I asked him. He glances down at me then ahead. "Makarov." I choked on my spit. "Are you serious!?" I blurted out. "Do you have a problem with my name?" Makarov growls. "No, No... just surprised." I told him. What the hell is going on!? I don't know!! Don't ask me!! "I can see that all these kids with you are the orphans you kidnapped." I comment, looking at the Fairy Tail crew. Makarov growls. "Not kidnapped, I saved them." Makarov said and I raised a brow. "Can you please enlighten me on what you mean by that?" I ask him. "We'll talk in the cave." Makarov said and I didn't protest.

Time skip~

It took five minutes to get to the cave. I sweat drop, there were a bunch of kids drinking ginger ale and root beer and pretending to get drunk off it. Then again, I did that when I was a kid. We all did. I realized all of them were from Fairy Tail. "Lisanna!!" I hear a heavenly voice yell. I see Mira and Elfman runnin to Lisanna. Mira seemed to be the same age as me too. "Where were you Lisanna!?" Mira said as she hugged her. "Mira-nee! Elf-nii-chan!" Lisanna yelled. I saw Cana walking over to Laxus. "You're all beat up Laxus. Let's get you to a bed." Cana said as she lead Laxus to a bed. "Levy-chan! Where were you?" Jet asks Levy. "I'm alright." Levy said, smiling. "Who's this?" Droy asked, looking at me. "He's a prisoner." Makarov announced. Whispers resonated throughout the room and looked at me. I puffed out my chest, making myself look tough. "Hell yeah I am! Do you know what I do?" I ask them, smirking. The looked around fearfully, making my smirk get wider. "I lead little children like you to my lair and bite their toes! You better watch out!" I shout, scaring them to make them scramble away. I chuckle and I felt a bonk on my head. "Don't frighten the brats like that." Makarov growls and I smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, I had to. It was the perfect chance and I took it." I told him. He looks over at Mira. "Get some rope Mira, we need to tie him up." Mira nods and went to go get the rope. All the other Fairy Tail members went to go do their own thing, glancing at me every now and then. Wendy told me she would look after Keiko for me, and I thanked her. Mira ties my wrists together and led me to a cells? Why the hell are there cells? I look closely and it looks like all the kids are living in the cells. Mira locks the cell and left, leaving me with dragon Makarov. "First of all, Hisui is evil. Don't be deceived by a wicked girl like her." Makarov said. I blink my eye in confusion. "Is she?" I ask him. "Don't let looks deceive you. All these brats all lived in the same village. Fiore Village. They all lived in happiness, until a year ago. Hisui created a rules over orphans like them. They aren't allowed to go to the same school with kids that have parents, just pretty much discrimination laws against orphaned children. After a while, she made another rule that they are to be slaves and people can do whatever they want to them. They abuse that authority and treated those kids like trash. We dragons, we couldn't let this keep going so we decided to attack the village. We destroyed most of the houses and fields, and we rounded up most of all the orphans. All the other orphans we didn't round up, we rescued them one by one, as well attacking the village. They hired ninjas from your village earlier... we didn't want to kill them.... we never did...." Makarov explained, looking down in shame at the last part. "It's fine." I told him. "Anyways, living conditions were bad, they are badly injured all the time, starved, hell, some were even killed. Nobody should abuse life like that." Makarov said, getting angry a little. "Is there any other orphans that we can save?" I ask him. He looked up at me. "W-What?" Makarov asked. "I asked if there were any other orphans we need to save." I asked him. "No... we saved the last one yesterday. Her name was... Flare? I think?" Makarov said, in deep thought. "Flare!? She's fine!?" I yelled out of happiness. "Yeah, she's fine." Makarov said. "That's good... can you let me out now? I'm on your side now." I ask him, holding up my bound wrists. "You would betray Hisui so quickly? Why? She has money, when we don't." Makarov asked. "Well, I'm a weird one then. I do what I think is right, and the best reward than money, is people's happiness and gratitude." I tell him, smiling. He smiles back I think? I can't tell, he's a dragon. He called Mira over to let me out and undo my wrists. "Welcome to our home." Mira said to me, leading me to the bar thing in the cave. "You don't have a name for this place?" I ask her, sitting down. She sets some food on the table, so thoughtful, I'm starving. "No, what do you suggest?" Mira said and I smiled. "Fairy Tail." I told her. "Fairy Tail eh?" I heard Makarov said behind me, was he eavesdropping!? He turns to everyone in the mess hall. "Brats! This place will no longer will be called.... whatever you call it. It's called Fairy Tail."
