Chapter 118 (Birthday special at the end! Happy birthday Ciel/Cassie!)

*First person pov*

"Do you think Naruto's been out there for far too long?" Keiko said as she drank her tea. "True, true.... Let's go get him." I said as I stood up from the table where me, Keiko, Kakashi, and Yamato were sitting at. "Eh, I'm good here drinking my tea." Keiko said as she chugs her tea and I roll my eyes. "You need to stop being so lazy." I said to Keiko. She puts her teacup down, a tea mustache on her upper lip as she points at me. "Hey! Get it right, lazy and proud!" Keiko yelled and I rolled my eyes while the others sweat dropped. "Whatever, what about you two? You coming?" I asked them. "Sure." Yamato replied as he stood up. "Yeah, Naruto's been out there long enough He must be freezing to death." Kakashi said as he stood up. "Well, we'll see ya in a second Keiko." I said, doing a half wave as I start walking, with the others behind me. I look up to see Naruto still on the roof, he was covered in snow, like he hadn't moved from that spot since I left. I'm glad I gave him my cloak to keep him warm, just by a little bit. We jump onto the roof. "Naruto! Come back inside already!" Yamato called for Naruto. I walked over to him and his nose was red, he's definitely going to get a cold. He opened his eyes to reveal the sage mode, making me shiver. His toad like eyes is creepy as hell. He turned around, looking expectantly at something. I turned around to see Pinky, Kiba riding on Akamaru, Lee, and Sai approaching. "There you are! Finally!" Kiba exclaimed. Naruto stood up, but there was a large amount of snow gathered on his head so I reached up ON MY FREAKING TIPPY TOES TO REMOVE IT. I hate being a short. "Why are you all here?"  Kakashi asked them. Pinky looked at Naruto with an unreadable expression... I glared at her, knowing the fucking stunt she will pull. "Naruto... There's something we need to talk about." Pinky said as we jumped down from the roof. Keiko walks out of the inn, staring at the team with confusion. "What's going on? I sensed you guys outside...." Keiko said as she hopped into my arms. Pinky took a deep breath and looked at Naruto. "Naruto... I love you." Pinky announced. Keiko's, Lee's, Naruto's, and Yamato's mouth dropped while the rest including me just remained emotionless. "What.... Did... you just say now... Sakura-chan!? I... Dunno if.... I heard you wrong... can you say it again?" Naruto said, pausing every now and then to get a chance to form words. "What I said, Naruto... Is that I love you!" Pinky announced again, casting her gaze to the side as her cheeks turn red.... Fake. It was all fake. "I'm saying there's nothing between me and Sasuke anymore!" Lies. "I dunno what I was thinking, liking a person like that." Stop. You're going to hurt him. "I'm confessing my feelings here, so listen up!" Shut up. You've caused enough pain for Naruto, now you're going to add more pain by lying to him? I looked over to Naruto and he still had a look of shock on his face. Keiko just had a furious look on her face, I don't know if she saw through the lie or bought the lie and the fury of a fangirl when they try to protect their ship. "But... How...? Why... If you tell a joke like that in a situation like this... It ain't funny... Sakura-chan..." Naruto trailed off. "Just... what happened?" Kakashi asked Pinky. "Nothing really, I just suddenly realized there's no sense in continuing to like someone who's a fugitive and a criminal. I can't stay a kid forever... I want to face reality. So Naruto... No need to keep that promise... won't you stop chasing Sasuke...?" Pinky said, trying to keep a happy face on but the cringe is all over her face. "What the hell are you-" Yamato said as he tried to step up but Kakashi puts an arm out in front of him. "Did... did something happen... Sakura-chan? Why me of all people... all of a sudden?" Naruto asked Pinky. "Nothing happened! If you want to know why I started liking you, I'll say it clearly..." Pinky then hugged Naruto making my eye twitch in annoyance. "Sasuke-kun just keeps getting further from me... But Naruto, you've always stayed by my side... You've encouraged me." Stop... please... "I finally realized... who you really are Naruto..." Quiet. Shut up. "The hero who protected the village... beloved by everyone in the village... I'm just one of them." Shut up. "But all Sasuke's done is commit crimes and break my heart... more and more, he's becoming a different person than he was... so distant..." Shut up shut up shut up shut up. Ciel... calm down. "But Naruto... you're right here where I can touch you like this... you make me feel safe... right now, from the bottom of my heart, I-" SILENCE!! CIEL!!! I was no longer in control of my movements, first I was standing behind Naruto with Keiko in my arms, next Keiko was on my head and I was pulling Pinky off of Naruto and pulled her over my shoulder. I didn't even realize my eye jutsu was activated. I twisted her arm behind her back as I step on it in a painful way and she yelps. "Ciel! What are you-" "Alright, listen here bitch." I ignored Kiba and talked to Pinky, glaring at her. "Do you think you'll solve everything with this fucking stunt? Naruto's pain? Those aren't scratches on Naruto, no, they're fucking SCARS. Scars that will continue to hurt forever. And you're just adding on to it. DO YOU THINK THIS IS BETTER!? TELL ME MOTHERFUCKER TELL ME!" I yelled as I added pressure and she screams in pain. "Ciel, you're going too far!" Naruto shouts as he puts a hand on my shoulder put I shrugged him off and turned my head to glare at him. His eyes widened as he stared into my eyes, like in some kind of trance with an unreadable expression on his face. "NO! I BELIEVE PEOPLE LIKE HER, NO, ANIMALS LIKE HER SHOULD BE DISCIPLINED LIKE AN  ANIMAL, NOT LIKE A HUMAN!" I turned back to Pinky. "Two, I can't fucking believe you would waste your life like this, for something you don't want. Believe me, it's not fun living inside a lie! Take me for example!! I-" Ciel! TMI!!! TMI!!! TMI!! I bit my lip and turned away, glaring at the side. "Hey! Break it up!" Kakashi said as he pulled me off of Pinky. Pinky turned over and looked at me, with fear in her eyes. I look around at everyone else as my doujutsu deactivated. Everyone had weird expressions in their eyes... staring at me... Why are they staring at me like that? I tch as I shake off Kakashi's grip on my arm and turned away. "I'm sorry... I'm just going to go to calm my nerves." I said as I started walking away, into the forest. Keiko was following me, I guess she wants to know what the hell happened or something, I have no clue. I lean on a tree, exhaling, fog coming out of my mouth. "Damn..." I said to myself as ran a hand through my hair. Keiko walked up to me. "Ciel, what was that about? You almost revealed where you came from and such..." Keiko said as she jumped up to my shoulder and nuzzled into me, probably to get warm. "I don't know... I guess I just can't sit back and watch someone fuck up their life from one simple lie.... Like I did I suppose.... Heh.... the boy who cried wolf, I guess that's me in this world..." I said and Keiko raised an eyebrow. "The boy who cried wolf? What's that?" Keiko asked me. "It's a story with a moral in my world. To summarize it, it's about a boy who lied to the townspeople about how there was a wolf and rushed to his side to protect him only to find nothing.... He did it for a few more times until he got bored... But there was one day there was actually a wolf and he cried that there was a wolf... nobody came to help him thinking it was another one of his lies..." I told Keiko. She scoffs. "That's so untrue. You're not the boy who cried wolf. After you revealed that you're a girl to some people, they all sticked to your side! They never lef-" "And if I told them the whole truth about me? Only then, I'll be the boy who cried wolf." I cut Keiko off. "Besides... I don't want Pinky to become one too." I told Keiko as I crossed my arms. Keiko stayed quiet, probably considering what I said. I sighed. "Let's just get back.... I feel a little bit better. I don't think I'll rash out like I did back there... sorry." I said to Keiko as I start walking back to the inn. "No, it's okay." Keiko said, shaking her head.
