A few hours later, everybody was back in the tent, celebrating the Irish's win from the earlier match. They were so wrapped up in their fun, they didn't pay attention to what was happening outside.
Ron was ecstatic, he continued to boast on and on about Viktor Krum. To him, Krum was the most extraordinary, supernatural, and amazing seeker that Quidditch had ever seen.
"There's no one like Krum!" he exclaimed.
"Krum?" George asked.
"Dumb Krum?" Fred asked.
"He's like a bird, the way he rides the wind. He's more than an athlete. He's an artist!" Ron exclaimed.
"I think you're in love, Ron," Ginny teased him.
"Shut up," he replied.
"Viktor I love you, Viktor I do!" Ruby started singing, then the boys joined in, "When we're apart, my heart beats only for you!" they laughed while Ron was hiding his red face.
Suddenly, the kids heard a loud crash outside, and screaming, "Sounds like the Irish have got their pride on," George said.
"Stop! Stop it!" Arthur suddenly yelled, "It's not the Irish. We've gotta get out of here. Now!" he exclaimed.
The kids didn't waste anytime, they didn't bother packing or taking anything with them; they just ran out into the mess before them. Several fires had been started, and everybody was running away, trying to avoid the group of dark figures in the background. They were tall hoods, and silver masks over their faces.
"It's the Death Eaters!" Ruby exclaimed. Arthur took out his wand.
"Get back to the portkey everybody, and stick together!" he shouted over the commotion, "Fred, George! Ginny is your responsibility. Go!"
The kids made a mad dash for the nearest clearing, trying to find their way back to the portkey. Unfortunately, Harry got separated from the group.
----
Ron, Hermione, and Ruby ran back through the ruins, trying to find any sign of their friend.
"Harry!"
"Harry!"
"Harry! Where are you?" they all shouted, but Harry never responded. Ron began to think the worse.
"What if he's dead? Or the Death Eaters got him?" he asked.
"Not exactly optimism now, is it Ronald?" Hermione asked him. Ruby scanned the dark horizon, until she saw something – no – someone moving. It was Harry.
"He's over there!" she exclaimed. The three children skittered down a small hill and found their friend as he hid behind a burnt tent frame.
"Harry! We've been looking for you for ages! We thought we lost you!" Ron said. Harry didn't seem to relieved to see them. Ruby suddenly looked up into the sky, seeing a cloudy green skull in the air.
"Guys? What is that?" she asked.
"I don't want to know," Hermione replied. All of the sudden, they found themselves, surrounded by eight wizards.
"Stupefy!" they four children ducked before they could be hit by the spell. The wizards continued to fire, until a discernible cry was heard in the distance.
"Stop! That's my son!" Arthur came running out of the fog and received the children, "Ron! Harry! Ruby! Hermione! Are you all right?" he asked them.
"We came for Harry," Ron replied.
"Which of you conjured it?" a skinny man with a moustache and a bowler hat suddenly came at them with his wand.
"Crouch, you can't possibly–"
