Ruby was laid to rest in one of the beds in the hospital wing. Madame Pomfrey had taken a vile of her blood for the other professors to examine, therefore, they could find the root cause of her fit.

The Golden Trio stayed with her, while Professor McGonagall interrogated them all on the events that played out.

"So, she just fell all of the sudden?" she asked.

"I hit her with a snowball, but it was an accident!" Seamus replied.

"And she was absolutely fine when she entered the Three Broomsticks?" she asked.

"Completely," Hermione replied.

"It was terrifying. I thought I had killed her!" Seamus exclaimed. Hermione then had a thought.

"Her butterbeer!" she exclaimed, "she said that it didn't taste right. Perhaps somebody spiked it, or charmed it,"

"May as well have been both," Ron said.

"I understand. You are excused, Seamus," McGonagall said. Seamus thanked her and ran out of the hospital as quickly as possible. McGonagall looked at Ruby, who was still unconscious, and then sighed as the looked to the other three, "Why is it when something happens, it is always you three?" she asked.

"Believe me, Professor, I've been asking myself the same question for six years," Ron replied. Professor Snape suddenly walked in.

"You wished to see me?" he asked.

"Oh, Severus. Come heather!" she beckoned him over. Snape marched over and McGongall presented him the vile of Ruby's blood. He took off the cap and pulled out the blood wit his wand. It floated in the air, and at the same time, it seemed to stretch in every which way, every possible direction.

"What do you think?" McGonagall asked. Snape looked at her blood, then at Ruby as she slept.

"I think that Ms. Dellamark is lucky to be alive," he replied.

"She was cursed, wasn't she?" Harry asked, "We all know that Ruby isn't exactly a peach, but she would never hurt a fly. If her drink had been tampered with, she wouldn't have known and not by whom,"

"Yes, she was cursed," McGonagall replied.

"It was Malfoy," he said suddenly.

"That is a very serious accusation, Potter," McGongall said.

"Indeed. Your evidence?" Snape asked.

"I just know," he replied.

"You 'just' know. Once again, you're astonished with your gifts, Potter. Gifts mere mortals can only dream of possessing. How grand it must be to be the Chosen One," he snivelled.

"I suggest you go back to your dormitories. All of you," McGonagall said. They took one last look at Ruby, who looked peaceful and calm in her sleep, and they left.
