Chapter 3

(A/N): I'm so sorry for not updating for a few days, I had a lot of homework

(Y/n)'s POV

I woke up and found myself in a different room this time. Since no one was around, I had a quick shower and changed into something other than the nightgown (skinny jeans and a long sleeved shirt with detachable gloves).

I decided to go explore the mansion since no one was bothering me. But right after I walked out of the door, I bumped into Subaru.

"Oh, I'm sorry."
"Tch."

He glared at me before leaving. I decided to follow him. We arrived at a rose garden.

"These are beautiful," I complimented while admiring the roses.
"Why did you follow me here?!" he asked, irritated. Gosh, he had anger issues.
"I was just bored."

He sighed. I grabbed his hand. He looked at me with a surprised expression. I smiled at him.

"Come on."

I pulled him to a forest and found a clearing. It looked like a moonlit night here. I walked up to the pond and froze it.

"Do you know how to ice skate?" He looked to the side.
"I uh *blushes in embarrassment*"

I focused my magic on making two pairs of ice skates...it worked. Ow, the headache. I forced a smile and handed him a pair. He took them with some hesitation.

"*smiles* Don't worry, I'm pretty sure they're stable."

I got on the pond and held out my hand. He just teleported next to me but accidentally knocked me over by falling. He wrapped his arms around me and fell on his back.

"W-why did you do that?" He looked to the side.
"You're the first person to actually treat me like that and you somehow feel l-like a s-sister to me," he replied shyly.
"Well, then you'll be my 'brother' from now on. And I've been wondering...how are you guys related?"
"Shu and Reiji are brothers. Ayato, Kanato and Laito are the triplets. And I'm the youngest. We all have different mothers."
"Oh, okay. Do you want to keep ice skating?"
"N-no."
"Then let's go back."

We started to walk back until he pinned me to a tree and sank his fangs into my neck. But like two seconds later, he pulled his fangs out. I saw Ayato standing next to me.

"You belong to me only," he said. He had punched Subaru.
"Is that a fight you want?!" Subaru asked angrily.
"Calm down guys."

I stood in between them then when I made sure they weren't fighting, I started walking back to the mansion. When I was at the door, Saee ran up to me.

"Where were you?!" she asked worriedly.
"I was out on a walk...with Subaru." Yui was behind her.
"Hey Yui." She smiled. I walked in. They followed me to my room.
"Yui, have they hurt you?" She shook her head. I saw bite marks.
"Who did it?"
"L-Laito," she replied hesitantly. I walked out of my room and went to Ayato's.
"Where's Laito?"
"Why do you need him? You belong to Yours Truly," he replied. Ugh, again with the yours truly.
"If you really want to know, let me drink your blood," he said.
"Fine." He sank his fangs into my neck and drank.
"So where is he?"
"I don't know."
"You. What?!"

I flicked him on the forehead before storming out of the room. I went up to the roof and saw Laito there.

"Why did you do that to Yui?!"
"I couldn't resist her sweet scent," he replied casually. I was about to take off my gloves when he grabbed my hand.
"Don't go on freezing people now."

I couldn't get out of his grasp. I didn't want to do it but I did. I bit his wrist and drank some of his blood. He let go in pain. I went back inside and walked around while deep in thought. I arrived in the lounge room and found Kanato.
