Chapter 15

(Y/n)'s POV

I sat on the hay bed, stroking Jasper's fur (don't ask me why I named the wolf that, I honestly have no idea). Tsuki came up to me. Jasper immediately stood up and growled. Tsuki just looked at it disgustingly. I glared at him.

"What do you want?"
"Just came to check on you," he replied.
"I don't need checking on." He handed me a plate with food on it. There was something unusual about the water.
"What did you put in it?"
"Just something to help with your headaches."

Why would he want to help me? Something's going on here. He walked away. Jasper looked at me with curious eyes.

"Don't worry, we'll get through this somehow."

Saee's POV

"Reiji! What's taking so long with the plan?!
"*sigh* I've already got one, hopefully it'll work."

Right after he said, everyone appeared. Yui held my hand. I smiled at her. Shu just slept on my bed. I rolled my eyes. As lazy as ever.

"What's the plan?"
"One of us will act as the bait and get the wolves' attention. Then they will take one of us to their location. Once inside, they'll teleport back here and take us all there. We will rescue (Y/n), no matter what it takes," Reiji explained.
"I'll be the bait," exclaimed Ayato.
"No, I will," Subaru and I said simultaneously. We all started arguing about that until...
"Stop arguing! To make it easier, Saee's not going," Shu said with frustration.
"But-"
"No buts." I pouted. Ayato and Subaru started arguing again.
"Stop acting like children!" They both stopped and glared at me. Shu pulled me behind him.
"I'll go. End of story," Ayato said.

Subaru grunted in annoyance. They all left while Reiji explained the details to Ayato.

(Y/n)'s POV

I finished the food then all of a sudden, I felt thirsty but I didn't want to drink the water. Jasper ate the last bits of bread that were left. I took off my gloves and started to practice my magic.

I decided to make a sculpture of Jasper. It worked...but it turned out five times smaller than his actual size. I touched the wall and ice started to form slowly. Jasper turned to a smaller size and went through the bars then walked away.

A few minutes later, he came back but his leg was injured. I cleaned his wound and covered it in ice.

"Tsuki! Why did you do that?!"
"He was stealing food."
"That does not give you the right to hurt him!"

He just shrugged. I made an 'ice ball' and threw it at him. It smashed on his face. I laughed. The ice cut a bit of his cheek. He suddenly went rage and forced the water down my throat.

I choked. Suddenly, an extremely painful headache occurred. I fell to my knees and held my head. Then my heart started hurting.

"What...was that?"
"There was something in that water to make your birthday come faster. It'll be here in about 2 days."

What?! He left. Jasper licked my hand. I tried to smile at him. Make the pain go away...please...

Ayato's POV

I threw out a piece of meat infused with one of Reiji's potion to make the wolves want it more. Surprisingly, I only had to wait a few minutes. I kicked one of them while the others clawed at me.

This went on for about a few more minutes until I purposely let them win. They took me to their secret location. It looked like an abandoned building. So much for a secret base.

"It looks like you came." It was that Tsuki guy.
"Where's (Y/n)?!" I followed him to a prison-like room. (Y/n) was lying there in pain.
"What did you do to her?!" Tsuki just smiled evilly.
"Ayato..."

I banged on the bars. A wolf nudged her and she slowly sat up. Tears filled her eyes. She had bruises and cuts all over her. I felt my anger rising.

"What. Did. You. Do."
"We only gave her a potion to make her weak and then sorta beat her up."

I dashed at him and aimed for a punch but Richter grabbed my wrist and pushed me back. He got out a knife and cut me. Suddenly, a flash of ice hit him.

"(Y/n), no!" She fainted. I teleported back to the mansion. I knocked over a vase.
"Ayato, what's wrong?" Yui asked.
"They injured her!" Everyone appeared. Even the Mukamis.
"Where is it?" Ruki asked.

I teleported back to their abandoned building. Everyone followed me. Saee stayed at the mansion to look after Yui. I was about to barge in when Laito stopped me.

"We can't just barge in there."

I did it anyway. Everyone sighed and followed me in. Lots of wolves attacked us. I dodged all of them and left them for my brothers to fight.

I ran to where (Y/n) was and kicked open the doors. I picked her up bridal-style and left but Richter appeared. He tried to punch me but I dodged. The wolf tried to bite him but he kicked it away.

I glared at him. Richter got out a katana. He slashed it at me. Shu appeared. I was surprised.

"Go now!" he yelled.

I teleported outside to the garden. A werewolf tried to bite (Y/n) but I shielded her. She woke up.

"Ayato?! You're hurt." She tried to help me but I stopped her.
"I can heal faster, you're more important!"
"Huh?-" I cut her off by kissing her. She blushed, which caused me to smirk.
"I love you." She blushed even more. "I...love you too...That's it, love!"

I was confused. She closed her eyes and a big flash of ice/snow distinguished all evil things, including Tsuki and Richter. She fell but I caught her.

(Y/n)'s POV

~At the mansion~

I woke up, I remembered everything. Ayato was next to me. I hugged him but my gloves weren't on. I tried to get off but he just held on tighter.

"It's alright, you can control it now," he said. I smiled.
