Sad Ending

(Y/n)'s POV

I had a quick shower and changed into a knee-length dress. What should I do today? *knock knock*

"Come in."
"Hey, we're going to school today," exclaimed Saee.
"B-but I just changed! Ugh..." She laughed.
"Just go and get changed before Mr. Fancypants comes."

I grabbed my uniform and went into the bathroom to change. We walked to the limo. No one was there except for Yui.

"Where is everyone?"
"Apparently they left early for some class project," Yui replied.
"And since when did they do class projects?"
"That would be never," Saee said.
"Yeah, I know right. Reiji's probably the only one to actually do any class projects."

Saee and Yui giggled. We got on and it got boring. I used my ice powers to make a few birds and butterflies. Then they crumbled and turned into ghoulish creatures. They died and a few poppies sprouted. There was light blue dust surrounding them. It all disappeared.

"Cool! How did you do that?!" Saee asked.
"I just did, I honestly didn't know I could do that." We arrived and went to our first classes. I had chemistry.
"Okay class, let me check your drafts (fairypiecepie drafts, class)."
"What drafts?"
"Just kidding but there will be a test next week."
"But you didn't teach us anything yet."
"Sorry about that. We weren't allowed to teach until 1 week before the exam."

Well, that was a stupid rule. We spent the whole double period learning stuff about chemistry and it wasn't fun.

"You are now dismissed." Finally! Next class is...drama.
"You are gonna be choosing a scene from any appropriate movie of your choice. There will be groups of 3 minimum and 5 maximum."
"Hey, you're (Y/n), right? I'm Chloe, nice to meet you."
"Yes, I'm (Y/n). If you don't mind me asking...why are you being so nice to me?"
"To be honest, I'm not a big fan of those bullies. I admire how you could endure all that pain."
"Well, it's all thanks to Ayato that I've been able to."
"I think he deserves someone as kind-hearted as you. I want to part of your group for this play...if that's okay with you."
"Of course it's okay, I hope you don't mind working with another friend of mine." Saee came over.
"What's this we're talking about here?"
"Oh, Chloe wants to be part of our group."
"Hi, I'm Saee."
"I'm Chloe, you two will have been the first friends I've made at this school." We all smiled at each other.
"What movie shall we do?"
"I know, let's do a scene from (f/m)," Chloe suggested.
"Omg! I love that movie!" After 20 minutes of practicing, it was time to perform.

~After class~

"Thanks for today, see you soon," Chloe said.
"Bye, I hope we're in the same class."

I was walking down the halls until I saw something - or someone - that immediately stopped me in my tracks. Ayato was there...kissing one of those bullies. Tears filled my eyes. He looked up and saw me. The girl was smirking behind him.

"No (Y/n) wait, please-"
"I-I thought you loved me...if you loved her, you could've told me before anything even started. So all of that was just an act..."

I ran away and bumped into Subaru. More tears fell from my eyes. He glared at Ayato, his look said 'if you come any closer, I'll kill you'.

~At the mansion~

I was sitting alone in my room until Ayato came in.

"Go away!"
"Listen, I'm sorry-"
"You're sorry? It looked like you were enjoying it." He looked away, ashamed.
"I'm breaking up with you...that's what you wanted, right?"
"I never wanted that!"
"So that's how you want it? To break up with me through a fight?!"
"I hate you. Get out of my life."
"Get out of my room!" He left, I cried. Saee came up to me.
"What did he do to you?!"
"I can't help it...I still love him...but he hates me....." She hugged me.
"Don't worry, you'll get through this." I had a feeling that something bad was gonna happen.

~Some time later~

This was how life treats me? Made me feel loved than stabbed me through the back.

"Hey-"
"Y-Yuma?" I hugged him and cried. He awkwardly hugged me back.
"What happened?" he asked.
"Someone broke up with her for another girl," Subaru explained.
"Grrr, I'll-"
"No, don't...I just need some time alone." I went to the forest.

Ayato's POV

How could I have been so stupid?! She was the only one I ever loved, she made me complete and I just threw her away. I shouldn't have drank that bitter drink, it made me lose my mind. I couldn't stop blaming myself...that was why I've decided to die...for (Y/n). I grabbed Subaru's knife and went to the forest.

(Y/n)'s POV

Wait, who was that? Ayato?!

"Ayato, what-" No, oh please no.
"Ayato, no!" But it was too late. He had stabbed himself through the heart.
"I love you...(Y/n)." He collapsed. Ayato, no...I ran up to him.
"Ayato, I love you so much! Please...don't die on me...don't die..."

I cried onto his chest. Why? Why did this happen?! I stayed there until Subaru came to get me.

"Let's go."

He pulled me up and had one last look at his brother before leaving. I decided to let my feelings out through singing. I went to the piano room. (Hurt by Christina Aguilera)
