Us Against the World (Vegeta X Reader)

Depression

I'm gonna start doing song lyrics before some of the chapters because I feel like it. Hopefully people know some of these songs.

He stumbled into fate and thought

Le time skip to after the fight

He did it. He killed the man he looked up to his entire life. I think we're starting a whole new thing. We actually care about people instead of wanting to kill everyone who opposes us.

He was very out of it. I would be too if I had done that. I'm sure he knows that it had to be done. I don't know how I'd manage if I were literally covered in my father's blood.

"Vegeta?" I said quietly, making sure everything was fine.

He just looked at me. As though he were aware that I was speaking, but he wasn't strong enough to reply. "VEGETA YOU DID IT WAY TO GO YOU SAVED US NI-" Goku yelled before getting cut off by me smacking the soul out of him. A smile came to Vegeta's face. I smiled, knowing that there was hope that he isn't too shaken up to enjoy Goku getting hit.

His smile faded away, and there was nothing but silence for a little bit. At least not until we heard a drip, drip, drip.

We were standing on gravel, so it was more of a slapping noise, but you get it, it was rain or something. Don't judge me, you're the reader, just enjoy the storyline. (Where'd the fourth wall go? Oh it's broken)

I looked up, not a cloud in the sky. I looked at the ground to see blood pooling up. Vegeta was bleeding. A lot. "Oh shit! Vegeta we have to get you healed!" I yelled in a panicked tone.

Vegeta just shook his head no. "(Y/n), get his feet, I'll get his head, we're flying him to the hospital," Goku said. I just nodded. Goku put his arms in Vegeta's armpits. Vegeta tried to get him off, but he was too weak.

The two of us picked him up and began to fly. I wanted nothing more than to make him feel better and get him out of this. I wanted him to go back to normal. I haven't seen him in God only knows how long, and it's still not him. I want my prince back.
