Christmas mornings were some of my favourites, even though our Christmas's were never huge when we stayed at home and didn't travel to see the family, they were still some of the best.
It was around 9 once we'd finished doing all our present between Mum, Dad and I.
I'd gotten new clothes, games for my Ps3, a few vouchers and a new bag.
"Going over the road!" I yelled, grabbing Aurora's present which I'd wrapped quickly last night and tied the best ribbon I could manage on it.
Ringing the doorbell of Aurora's I could hear the faint sound of what I guessed were Christmas carols coming from inside.
"Michael!" Aurora flung her self into my arms the minute she'd opened the door.
"Happy Christmas", I smiled placing a kiss on her cheek.
"Merry Christmas to you too", she smiled before placing her soft lips onto mine.
She tasted of cinnamon and what I supposed was ginger, perhaps from gingerbread biscuits? What ever it was was sweet.
"Come in", she smiled as we broke apart grabbing my hand and leading me into the lounge.
Christmas paper filled the floor with presents that had been opened strewn all over the carpet. the few presents that hadn't been opened laid under the tree, I guessed they were for other family members.
"Merry Christmas Michael", Mr. Tucker beamed as he walked in, supporting a Santa hat on his head.
"Merry Christmas to you too", I smiled back.
"Here", Aurora said, crouching down and reaching under the tree to two packages, one small the other slightly bigger.
I began to feel bad, what if my present wasn't enough?
Aurora grinned as she handed me the bigger one which was rather soft.
Tearing the paper open I seen something white, unfolding it and pulling it up, I seen it was a Pokemon tee-shirt, I grinned,
"When we were younger you were always wanting to be an elite Pokemon trainer", she laughed.
I chuckled as I remembered when we were younger I'd always try and con Aurora into playing Pokemon in our backyards, both us pretending to be trainers battling eachother.
"Here here open your other one!" Aurora exclaimed shuffling closer to me and handing me the smaller package.
Tearing this one open I seen it was an envelope, ripping open the seal with my finger i pulled the contents out, a single photo dropped as I did.
There was both of us, twelve and prepubescent at our primary school graduation. My hair still blonde, Aurora supporting braces, both us with the biggest grins knowing that we were gonna be big high school kids.
"It always makes me laugh", Aurora laughed.
"It's great", I laughed back, opening the pocket in my hand that I'd taken out of the envelope.
My mouth dropped open. Was this what I thought it was?
"Aurora...", I whispered.
"You don't want to go? Oh no I'm sorry",Aurora gasped.
"No no! I'd love to go", I exclaimed, I just couldn't believe it.
Aurora had bought me a ticket to Sound Wave. I'd thought they'd all sold out. I'd wanted to go so bad but they were so expensive I couldn't of afforded it.
"It's just I had two tickets and well I wanted you to be the one to come with me", she smiled.
"Well good then", I said moving in real close, "because I'd love the honours in going with you".
"You would?!" Aurora jumped up.
I nodded, she was so cute when she was excited.
"I'm so excited! Blinks gonna be there! And All Time Low! And all my favourites!" she screamed.
I couldn't believe it. I was finally going to see my favourites live and up close.
"Wait!" I exclaimed, "You've got to open your present".
"Oh", Aurora blushed before hopping back down next to me.
"Here, Merry Christmas", I beamed handing her the present.
I watched as she tore at the paper carefully before slipped the CD out into her hand, I waited as I watched the biggest smile creep on her face.
"Michael", she turned to me.
I bit my bottom lip nervously, what if.
Aurora stood up with the Cd in her hand grabbing mine, "Come", she said.
I followed her up the stairs and into her room as she shut the door behind us.
Watching her, she walked over to her dresser and put the CD in her stereo before pressing play.
'Dear Maria Count Me In' by All Time Low started to play.
Aurora started to laugh, "So this is what you think of me?" She asked wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Huh? What?" I asked as I slipped my arms around her waist.
"This song is about a stripper", she giggled before placing her lips yet again to mine.
