Pieces Of Time (5 Seconds Of Summer)

No one ever left Aurora's side during those few days. Whenever one were to leave someone else would come and take their place, hoping for some sort of good news, but no word ever came.

"Aurora", I paused for a moment, I'd been sitting by her for a while now watching the infotainment channel, the same add for the same gogo duster for the last hour was driving me insane, "I'm so sorry you never got to here me sing, that this happened when it did, I promise you, as soon as you wake up, I'll sing for you, I'll sing all day and then I'll teach you how to play a guitar, because we never actually got to finish that one", I stopped, smiling at the memory of when I first tried teaching her to play on my front deck, "These last few weeks, I know it hasn't been long but somehow it's felt like we've made up for all those years you were away at school. You never got round to telling me why you barely ever came back during the breaks, I'm glad you finally did for this one though, maybe you can transfer to my old school so we can still see each other when school goes back, I guess it'd depend or something, I dunno, it's just a thought. But you know what, I know you're going to get through this, you're going to wake up, and recover like a trooper",  did I really just say 'trooper', "and things will go all well, there's so much more we have to do, so many more places I want to take you, we're going to soundwave together in two months, how great will that be? I mean we can both see all our favourites finally, you're gonna love it, seriously you're possibly the best person to go with", I hadn't even noticed the tears that had started to slowly fall down my cheek, wipping them off I took a deep breath in, "Shanee and the guys are gonna come by tonight, I hope you don't mind, they've been asking non stop about how you're going, anyways, I better be going, I know your Dad is coming in to spend time with you, but don't worry I promise I'll be back", I stood up, moving closer to the edge of the bed where I let go of Aurora's hand and placed a kiss on her forehead, "I love you", I whispered.

As I walked out of the room, Mr Tucker was walking in, shoulder slumped down his eyes were red.

He looked up as I walked past and gave a weak smile as he patted me on the shoulder and walked on in.

I hate hospitals. I really do. Nothing good ever came out of it, I mean yeah it was the place that a lot of new life's began and all that shit but comparing the two alot more bad stuff happened in here.

As I walked slowly down the hall I was nearly knocked over by rushing doctors and nurses, yelling hurried things at each other. I watched as they ran into a room and my heart dropped, no.

Turning around and breaking out into a run I made my way back towards Aurora's room.

"Hey! What are you doing?" a voice called out but I didn't stop.

Just as I was two doors down from Aurora's I was stopped in my midst.

"Get off me!" I yelled as the nurse tried stopping me.

"You can't go in there", she said.

"But I have too!" tears welled up and started to fall, no this couldn't be happening.

Loud beeping came from Aurora's room and the hurried loud voices continued.

"I have too", I said trying to push past the nurse, 

"Please you really can't!" the nurse explained, attempting to hold me back.

For a women of a small size she had some strength about her. 

"You don't get it!" my voice was raised, I had to get in there, I had to make sure she was okay.

A crackle came from what I gather was some sort of walkie talkie of the nurses, "...... to room 34A immediately, room 34A immediately" 

"I'm sorry", the nurse said pushing past me and running to Aurora's room, 3 other nurses and doctors came out of no where as they followed her in.

My heart was racing, as I blinked back tears, taking deep breaths in I made my way towards the door or Aurora's room.

The door was open slightly, just as I went to push it open a male popped out, shutting the door behind him

"Whats happening?" I managed to get out, the voices inside the room seemed to stop, everything had quietened down, did this mean everything was okay?

The guy looked at me for a few seconds, "Are you a family member?"

I paused for a moment, "Yes", I lied.

His head dropped as he took a deep breath in, "I'm so sorry", he put his hand on my should.
