Pieces Of Time (5 Seconds Of Summer)

Closer and closer, our lips almost touching.
"Michael?"
Damn.
We moved quickly and turned around to see Mum at the door, phone in her hand.
"Oh hello Aurora", Mum smiled.
"Hi Karen", Aurora smiled back.
How long had she even been there? 
"Adam just called about your gig at the Annandale", Mum explained.
Oh, how could I forget it.
"I'll call him later", I said, Mum smiled before walking back inside.
"You're having a gig?" Aurora asked.
"Yeah, it's a few days before Christmas, the 21st", I paused, "Do you wanna come?".
"If you guys don't mind", she smiled.
"Of course not", I smiled, "Shanee's coming as well".
"I'll ask Mum later, I'm sure she won't mind though", Aurora smiled.
"Sweet", I beamed back. 

3 Hours later and we're holed up in our small recording studio, Adam included.
"You guys practised?" Adam asked, flopping down on the chair.
"Mmhmhn", Luke replied.
I laughed.
"We did a cover the other day", Calum trailed off.
"So no?" Adam asked. 
"Well", Ash trailed off.
"Up!" Adam instructed, it was pretty clear he could tell we'd spent alot of these holidays already lounging around.
We all got up and dragged ourselves towards our set up of what our stage would look like.
Cal, Luke and I plugged our guitars into the amps, while Ash jumped behind the drums and pulled out his sticks.
"You guys know your set order?" Adam asked from the lounge.
I looked around while attempting to tune my guitar. 
"We'll get it", Luke replied, setting up his mic stand to the right height.
I positioned my mic stand and pulled it to the side of me. 
"Are you slow coaches ready yet?" Adam sighed.
"Hang on hang on, hold your horses", Cal mumbled.

10 minutes later and we finally had all our gear ready.
"Is it time yet?" Adam yawned.
"One two three", Ash counted in.
"Back in high school we used to take it slow. Red Lipstick on and high heel stilettos" 

Hey guys sorry it's taken me so long to update, i've just had some personal things, and a few rough nights, so if the updates shit, i'm sorry blame that.
