"The heart wants what it wants baby ..."

It had been two years. They said time changed people. Everyone was a slave of time. You get used to any situation if you stay in it long enough. You grow with it or the situation grows on you. But no matter what time heals when you're in a bad place. You get used to it.

But time seemed to lose the plot when it came to these two. In this moment , Randhir felt the innate need to go and explain the situation to Sanyukta. He felt like he needed to tell her what she saw wasn't what it looked like. That there was nothing between Shanaya and him. He felt like his body would betray him any second and run to her...

But he was trained wasn't he? Two years of training, all gone in one Moment? Shanaya noticed something was up "Shekhu , you got me out for ice cream and now you're not even touching it. Look at you're ice cream it's all melted , whats wrong ?" His mind was restless as they walked inside ISRC and spotted someone sleeping on the bench ..

Shanaya insisted on going ahead to find out who it was but Randhir stood there silently, observing the movements , the way that person moved while sleeping, her feet, and he stood their numb not responding to Shanaya's constant pleas.

It was her. She was here. He had every part of her memorised, he had spent four years adoring and loving her, even when they fought , she was always right in front of him, even when he had decided to love her from afar , he used to sneak into her room just to watch her sleep, he knew how she moved while sleeping, her random whispers when she missed him, her complains when he disappointed her "how could you Randhir ? You can't do this to me !"

And when he knew he saw Sanyukta. That had to be the final verdict. Because nobody recognised Sanyukta the way he did. Nobody knew her like he did. He sighed .. She hadn't gone. Hadnt left. He actually felt his muscles relax, his heart beat soften, his mind open..he noticed how his body reacted knowing she was here and okay, and then he realised this was wrong, him still caring. It was wrong.

"Let's go Shanaya , go to your room, even I'm going" he said wanting to run from the situation. Because there are only two options when you have an issue- Either face it head on. Or run like nobody is watching. When the first one fails, human tendency is to go for the second. And so he did..
