I didn't heard the rest of her band playing. I was stuck looking at her, and drooling might I add. Yeah, drooling cause damn, you can't resist that gorgeous hottie looking at you like she's seen a goddess. And I tell you, I ain't nothing near a goddess.

This night will always be something. Far from something.

GAR'S POV

I'm good with what I do. I know it. I'm never one to feel nervous when I'm doing my music but looking at Raf made me realize that I'm so fucking nervous!

I wanted her to look beyond my words and see what I really mean. I wanted to tell her everything but I don't know where to start.

But what did I really want her to see?

I'm not quite sure myself.

I know I've said I only wanted friendship but screw it! I just can't get a grip every freaking time I'm close to her. i just don't want to be a friend. I can't be her friend!

Yeah.

Everything is not falling where it should be and it scares the shit outta me!

So now, i'm standing here in this platform with my band mates all set up for the last song. Yep, you heard me right! My band mates suddenly pop out of nowhere, at least I'm not feeling too tensed up.

A gentle slow rhythmic melody filled my ears and I saw Jace doing his thing with his guitar. I didn't know this would be our last song. I blend in a simple echoing note on the keyboard as the I get the feel of the intro or the song. Then the lyrics of the song came out of my lips like a hush.

"Tonight, a candle lights the room

I sang this looking at Raf, straight in the eyes. I can't look anywhere cause even when I try to, I only find myself drawn back to her.

A collaboration of guitar strings echo in a distance with the beat of the drums follow through the rhythm of the music making the song making it sound thick and soulful.

When chorus came, Pete, joined in.

I didn't care anymore. I'm lost in Raf's deep brown eyes. I can't see her eye color from here but I know it. Its burned in my memory and there's nothing that will ever erase it.
