"Got yah!" She said still laughing with her silly act.
The elevator door opens after ten years ----- it's taking forever!
When I was about to step in, I heard a commotion speeding towards us. When I look at what is happening ---- TADA!!! (with confetti!) ---- "the nuns" are coming our way.
I silently cursed and smiled at them.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh God! Help me! I silently prayed as I listen to another bickering of "the nuns" with the planner. I'm not really choosey about stuff but "the nuns" keep on insisting what they like and meticulously inspecting the plans that the planning team came up.
I gently massage my temple, this headache is getting worse by the minute and I so want to end the arguing. It's petty and immature and I just want it to end.
Nothing's been done for the last 3 hours, they haven't agreed on anything. Whatever the planning team came up with, "the nuns" would always have something to say and then along the discussions they heat up and they start having a debate about simple stuffs that I, myself, can actually decide. But no, "the nuns" just have to shut me up and won't listen to anything I say.
God! Can't they just marry their selves and stop messing with mine? If respect doesn't exist, I swear I'll not sit around here and listen to the same argument for over 3 hours.
I let out a deep sigh and started to say something but as usual, they just ignore me when in fact I should be the one deciding on every detail of my wedding. I so hate life right now.
A tap on my shoulder stopped me from cursing everyone in the room. This is just getting out of hand and I'm losing patience with everyone.
"What?!" I snapped at whoever is bothering me. I'm really not in the mood to speak with anyone. But when I turn to look at the person, I can't help but feel a bit guilty snapping at her without any reason. "Oh, sorry. I'm just -"I sighed again and look at her.
"Its fine, I understand." Garette said and smiled that calming smile. I've seen that before, maybe during the dinner last time, and it always had that effect on me. Just a smile from her can make me forget this annoying feeling that I wanted to shoot everyone in this room with a silencer just to shut them up!
I smiled. "So, what is it?"
"Wanna get out of here?" She asked and I definitely liked the idea. Right now, I don't care whatever they intend to do with my wedding. It's supposed to be my wedding but if they keep this up, then I'm gonna drop everything and find other people willing to listen to me.
"Sure!" I said without even thinking. I picked up my bag, stood up and without saying another word, sprinted towards the exit.
When I was turning the corner to the elevator, I heard Garette rushing over to me.
"Hey, wait up!" She said as she reached my side.
"God! Another second in that room and I swear, I'll be convicted with a crime you might not want to know." I said in a single breath.
She laughed, the sound that I always liked cause it makes you want to laugh with her. "I know the feeling. I wonder why you put up with that. It's not like they're the ones who's getting married."
"That is what I was just thinking!" I exclaimed. At least one person in that room gets my way of thinking. "I almost yelled to them go marry each other!" I said, pacing in front of the elevator. I'm still quite pissed about what happened. I'm never gonna discuss my wedding with those people, EVER AGAIN!
