Jade's P.O.V
Sam had left not to long ago, an Perrie went somewhere with Zayn. So it left Bradey an I to have some time together to hang out. Right now we are playing go fish. Bradey is winning. Before go fish we played old maid. Bradey won that game too. It was so much fun. "You won again." I playfully whined as I threw my cards on the table.
"It's not my fault mommy. That's why nobody really plays card games with me."
"I want a rematch little man." I laughed.
"But I'm bored of cards. Can we play something else?"
"Like what?"
"I don't know. What can I still do, since I'm grounded?"
"Wanna bake something?"
"Yeah okay." So we headed into the kitchen, an I was looking through the cupboards. An found cake mix.
"Alright e have vanilla an chocolate cake mix. Which one?"
"Chocolate!" Bradey squealed.
"Alright do ya wanna get the stuff out for me?"
"Okay okay."
Bradey's P.O.V
I am really happy that I got sometime with mommy. It's been a while since it was just us too at home. So we are going to make a cake right now. I have always wanted to bake one. But I never knew how.
"So Bradey a little birdy told me that a important day is coming up."
"Birds talk?"
"No Bradey it's an expression."
"Oh okay. So what is this day?"
"I think you know what the day is."
"Right, I do know what it is."
"Wanna tell me?"
"Why you already know I think?"
"I'll let you know when I hear it."
"Oh alright. My birthday is two weeks from Friday."
"Yep that is what the little birdy told me."
"Yeah, I forgot about it being in two weeks."
"What why?"
"Oh I don't know. Everytime that day comes around it's never a good day for me."
"Well this year an years to come it will be better."
"How?"
"It's a surprise."
"Okay but no clowns."
"Why no clowns?"
"I'm terrified by clowns."
"Alright I promise there will be no clowns allowed there."
"Good." I sighed. After we mixed up the stuff we poured it into a pan an popped it into the oven. It was kinda fun. Now we wait for it to finish baking.
"That was fun."
"Yeah it was." I yawned.
"You look tired Bradey."
"I'm not tired."
"Okay. So what do you want for your birthday?"
That is a good question. Nobody ever asked me that before. "Well I haven't really thought about it."
"There must be something that you really want."
"Em I always wanted a trampoline."
"Anything else?"
"Uh not that I can think of."
"That's okay. I'm getting you something really cool for your birthday."
"Okay." That is when the timer went off that meant that the cake was done. After it cooled off a bit we frosted it an ate it. It was so yummy.
"We did a good job on this cake."
"I know it."
"Okay well its getting late so we should be getting upstairs an ready for bed. So we can hang out with Sam at the park tomorrow."
"Alright."
