Jace's POV

I ran to my bathroom to take a shower, not really.

I turned on the shower to mask the sound of me throwing up. I threw up the toilet seat and started to barf. I felt so bad I didn't know what was wrong with me.

When I stoped barfing I backed up to the shower stall and cringed and I hummed as best I could to mask the pain. I put my hand over my stomach and I could feel the pain again. Was it lasting pain of my change? No it couldn't be, it felt to different.

I looked down to my stomach and hand. Nothing looked out of place but it hurt like hell. Finally the pain reached its highest and I screamed out from it.

Before I knew it Gaven burst through the door to the bathroom then my vision got blurry, then finally black.

I woke up in a giant room filled with cabnets and beds. From the look of the room I could tell it was a type of hospital room.

I looked around the room to see what I thought was a bed covered by a curtin. From the light of the window I could see a figure sitting down. I then looked at the windows.

The windows were giant. From floor to ceiling, and the ceiling was high. Out of the windows was a very green forest. There were giant trees and flower bushes, some bushes had blue flowers on it. Not the same blue as Gaven's eyes but they were very close. The sky was turning red from the sunset and everything glowed with life and color. The whole thing looked like one big painting. It was so beautiful.

I turned my head back to me and saw I had a IV in my arm. I looked to the rest of my body and it was strapped down. On my wrists, ancles, around my torso and neck were straps you'd see on one of those hospital shows where the dude that was going crazy needed to be restrained with. I looked at them in confusion, then looked back at the curtin around the figure. I sighed and ploped my head back on my pillow only to grunt in pain.

The figure behind the curtin moved its head toward me and got up. Walking around the curtin came Emma.

"Hey your awake thats great!" Her voice made my head hurt even more. I winced from the pain. I guess Emma saw that because she started talking lower. "How are you doing?"

"I'm fine, well not really. What happened to me?" I asked Emma trying to regain my sence of, well everyting.

"You fainted in your bathroom. Gaven brought you here so I could look at you. Are you sure you want to know what happened, you may not like it." she said.

"Yes I do. I want to know why I was in so much pain. I know it couldn't be from the changing. All that pain stopped after I shifted into my wolf. Besides I could tell it was a different kind of pain, so tell me." I almost yelled. I didn't though because of my head.

"Jace you fainted because your body was still ajusting from your wolf and also because your pregnant." My eyes shot open as far as possible. I was in shock from the info. "I told you, you shouldn't want to know."

"How is that possible? Doesn't it take a few days to figure that out or something?" I said freaking out. I mean there should be no way for me to have gotten pregnant from Gaven that quickly.

"Honey you were pregnant with your child even before you changed. That means you and Gaven conceived your child the first time you slept with him." Her words didn't really shock me anymore, because I knew that she was right. I never really considered that I could have gotten pregnant when he first had sex with me. It never once dawned on me. I was to held up being angry with Gaven that I didn't really think about future outcomes, other than me never being with my 'mate'.
