"So tell me everything that went on last night!" Martha orders jumping on my bed.
"Hey take it easy, I just made that bed!" I bite in annoyance.
"Shut up! Now speak" she orders.
I chuckle as I begin to un braid the locks of hair to put my curls into a high pony tail.
"You do realize Martha that you-".
"Shhh! I know what I said. And I know you know what I meant. So stop stalling and spill them beans!" she urges.
"I'm not stalling" I laugh finishing up with my hair.
"So tell me!" she insists.
"Ok!" I mock sitting beside her.
"It was great and romantic. He took me to the open field where we first connected, prepared dinner, with wine, decorated the whole setting with lights! It was so sweet and thoughtful" I beam.
"Blah blah blah" she speaks dully.
I frown.
What's her problem.
"Seriously Martha. You tell me to tell you about last night and this is how you act. Are you even listening to yourself right now?" I question in annoyance.
She rolls her eyes.
"Ana stop taking things to the heart" she orders.
"I'm not" I state.
"You are. When I ask you about last night I don't mean the boring parts, I'm talking bout those juicy details!" she explains.
"If um you know what I mean" she winks.
"So what you're basically asking if we had it on our first date?" I rephrase.
"Now you're getting it! Finally! I thought I was going to have to spell the word out for you, Ana you can be such a slow-".
"I can't believe that's all you care about Martha!" I exclaim cutting her off.
"There you go again taking things to the heart" she complains.
"Am not!" I childishly argue.
She chuckles.
"And to answer your question, no we did not have that last night" I state.
"Boo!" she huffs.
"Martha what the heck is wrong with you! Why would you even ask that question?" I ask.
"I mean seriously, on grass?!, that's gross" I comment.
"You guys had a car too" she replies casually.
My jaw drops in disbelief.
Is she serious right now?
"Martha!" I shriek slapping her arm.
"Hey!" she whines rubbing her arm.
"We were not going to that in a car nor on grass. Eww!" I state.
"Eww!" she mimics in a high pitched voice.
"Shut up!" I order.
She laughs.
"It's surprising how long he has taken without you know to a girl. He used to....umm never mind. I shouldn't really share that kind of information with you" she dismisses.
"You think?" I ask sarcastically.
"Hey that means he's waiting for you. That's a good sign. It means he has changed. It means you made him change" Martha assures.
