Chapter 38 Analia's P.O.V.

"Hey" I greet entering Emily's room.

She was currently laying down on her bed with her laptop on her stomach.

"Hey" she greets back with a small smile sitting up and placing the laptop on her side.

"How are you doing?" I ask closing the door behind me.

"I heard the news" I add sitting next to her.

"I'm ok. I guess" she replies.

"Of course you're not ok. You love this guy and your relationship just finished a few hours ago" I explain.

"Wow, you sure see right through me" she informs with a slight frown.

"That's what sisters are for" I wink.

She chuckles nodding in agreement.

"I just, I don't know" she shrugs looking away to stare at the window.

"I thought it could work out. I had that hope, which he himself placed in me. Then it just blow up in my face when I realized something" she pauses to face me.

"He said he was giving us a shot. He said he was trying to love me. In other words those feelings weren't ever there.

   He was in a way forcing them to be there. The only true feelings he has are for Elis. He's inlove with her. I could never compete with that" she confesses.

"You're right" I state.

"I don't know why I said yes Analia. I knew it wasn't going to work out. He placed that hope inside my heart not my mind. My heart spoke at that moment, not my mind.

    My mind was saying no. His heart is far away when it comes to you. And my heart was saying yes he finally wants to be with you. Don't let this opportunity go" she informs.

"I had no choice but to say yes. My feelings got the best of me" she confesses.

"That's how feelings are. They make you do mighty crazy things" I state.

"I'll never recover from this" she whispers.

"But I can't stand to be in the way of his happiness and true love. He sees me as a best friend. I guess I'll have to live with that.....forever" she adds.

"Come here" I order wrapping her into a hug.

"It's going to be ok" I assure.

"I know" she nods.

"I spoke with Elis....well she spoke with me" I state.

"About?" she questions.

"Her and Bradley. He asked her out right after he left Elias's room the other day" I explain.

"Wow so he couldn't wait to blurt that out to her" she says dully.

"Listen" I suggest.

"She didn't say yes" I inform.

"What?! Impossible. She's all for him now that she's changed into a 'good' person" Emily replies in disbelief.

"Well....she did say yes" I reason.

"You see! I knew it!" she says pointing at me.

"But hasn't made it official" I add.

"But why? Bradley is great, he's the best actually!" she compliments.

"She wants to speak to you first" I state.

"To me?" Emily questions surprised.

I nod.
