The month of planning went by so fast, Jessica felt like she couldn't get everything organized.  Beth was such a big help.  She was making sure that Jessica was keeping her head on straight.  It was the day before the wedding and Jessica went with her mother to go and pick up her dress.  Once they got to the bridal shop the sales person brought her dress over.

"Jessica, that dress is beautiful." Her mother said while her eyes welled with tears.  Jessica gave her mom a hug and looked over at the gown.

At that moment Jessica felt a pain in her heart, she thought about the wedding and realizing that one part of her life was over.  She thought about her first husband and wondered if he would be happy for her.  She had been so busy that she never thought about it.  Today though, seeing her mom react to the dress almost the same way she did about her last one just hit her hard.  Jessica's mom saw her eyes and went over and embraced her child.

"Jessica, you know he would want you to move on right?  He would want you to be as happy with someone else as you were with him."  She said as she griped her tighter.

"I know mom.  I just wonder if he would be happy with who I chose?"

"You don't think he had anything to do with it.  I am sure he helped the good lord out a little bit."

Jessica just looked at her mom and smiled.  They hugged again then took the dress and headed home.  The afternoon and evening consisted of the rehearsal followed by the rehearsal dinner.  That is where Dog and Beth got to talk with Jessica's parents.  Everyone seemed to be getting along.  Jessica took a look around the table and smiled, she finally saw a big happy family all around her again, and she never thought that she would find that ever.  Leland saw her staring around and put his hand on her leg, she jumped a little and turned toward him.

"What are you thinking about?"  He asked her with a smile.

" Just about how it is so nice to see a family all brought together again. I missed this, seeing my parents and your parents getting along so well is just amazing to me." She replied leaning in and giving him a little peck.

"I am sure we will have many more moments like this, but I like seeing it as well." He replied.

They finished dinner then headed home.  Jessica started finishing up some last details for the next day while her mom put Sarah to bed.  Leland was putting some stuff together for tomorrow when he left to go get ready with his dad.    After all those little things were done, she sat down to read over her vows.  She was so excited that she didn't know if she was going to be able to sleep that night.  Her mom came over to her and sat down.

"How you doing sweetie?"  She asked.

"I am alright, nervous and excited but hey that's normal."  Jessica replied with a laugh.

" Leland is a good man, you have nothing to be nervous about.  I am so glad you are happy again."

"Thanks mom.  I never thought I could be this happy again, I just thought it was me and Sarah against the world.  I am so glad that I could be happy again."

Jessica and her mom talked for a while, when Jessica started to get tired so she said goodnight to her mom and headed to her bedroom, where she found Leland already asleep.  She smiled as she watched him sleep for a moment, she loved him so much.   She then went and got changed and climbed into bed.  She felt Leland wrap his arms around her waist.

"Good night."  Leland said quietly in her ear.

"Goodnight sweetheart, I love you."  Jessica replied.  Leland pulled her in real close then lifted his head to kiss her.

"I love you too."  Then they both fell asleep.
