The next day Jessica packed up and headed for the airport, and made the quick trip back to Kona. After making her way off the plane she went to the baggage claim, after she grabbed her bag off the line she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to find Leland standing there.

"Hey, nice to see you again." Jessica said, surprised to see him.

"Hey, we were on the same flight but you didn't see me. You headed to your car?"

"No, I took a taxi here, I am heading to go catch one now. It was great...." she began but was interrupted.

"Don't spend money on a taxi, I can give you a ride." Leland said.

"Oh, I don't want to impose."

"You are not at all. Come on, this way." Leland said grabing her bag from her and showing her where to go. When they got to the car Leland helped put her daughters car seat in the car, they all got in.

"So where do you live?" Leland asked her.

"Here," Jessica said pulling out her license, "I haven't memorized it yet."

Leland took a look and handed it back to her. He put the car in gear and they headed out. It was quiet for a little while when Leland spoke up.

"Oh I know someone who can babysit for you. I talked to them yesterday and they said they would love to help if you are still in need of someone?"

"Yes I am, Thank you for that, I was going to call around when I got home saves me some time." Jessica was so grateful.

"What time are you going out?"

"Around 7, just for like 2 or 3 hours. I found a place to go so now I am excited."

"Where are you going?"

"A place called starz? it is a kareoke bar, I am going to sing my troubles away." She stated with a laugh, "And since I don't know anyone, I won't have to worry about being embarrassed."

"Sounds like fun, I hope you have a good time." Leland replied, " I will tell them to come by a little early so you can go over things with them."

"OK," Jessica stated, she saw they were pulling up to her house, "Well if you are free you should show up, it would be nice to have someone to talk to, if not, no big deal. Thanks for the ride, I really appreciate it."

"You are so welcome." Leland said. He helped her get all of her stuff inside. Jesssica shook his hand and she closed the door.

Jessica heard the door bell ring around quarter of 7. She went and answered the door to find Dakota, Lelands son, standing there.

"Hi, Dakota right?" Jessica asked.

"Yeah, I am your babysitter for the night." He replied

"Did your dad ask you do this?"

"Well he did, but I wanted to, I take care of my little sister all the time so I don't mind."

Jessica let him in and introduced him to her daughter, she then went over everything and gave him the phone number of where she was going to be along with her cell phone number.

"If you need anything give me a call, I will be back in a few hours."

She said her goodbyes to Sarah, then headed out the door, she drove a ltttle while, getting lost once or twice before she found the place.. When she walked inside she went and got something to eat and put her name in to sing a song. She had a couple of people come up to talk to her, but most were trying to hit on her and she was not into that. Even with the few rude people she was having a great time, About a hour in she heard her name called, and made her way to the stage and began to sing Brave. As she started the second verse she saw Leland walk in, she gave a small wave and a smile to him. He waved back as she was singing. At the end of the song she got a standing ovation, she was not expecting that. She got down off the stage and went to look for Leland. She walked around the whole bar and could not find him. She did not know that he got a call and had to go to his office, her heart sank as she thouguht he just changed his mind about being there. She was so looking foward to having a friend on the island. After that she made her way back to her house and paid Dakota for taking good care of Sarah.
