Chapter 3: A new job

A few days had passed and Jessica was settled into her new house, she was just finished giving Sarah lunch when she recieved a call from the photography agency that she works with from time to time.

"Hey there Fran, how are you? What can I do for you?"

"Ok well I have a great oprotunity for you, but you need to go over to Oahu for about a couple days, do you think you could do that, this client could really use someone like you who knows about self defense and all of that."

"Really, what kind of work am I going to be doing?"

"It is still photography but it is action shots and that."

"Alright I can do that, who is it for, give me the info also when is this?"

" Heres the deal, I can't give you the client information right now, it is descresionary, also I need you in Ohau to work tomorrow, as far as where to go you need to be there at 10 in the am and I will be bringing you over since where you have to go really does not have much parking."

" Fran you are really putting me on the spot, How am I going to get someone to watch Sarah? Do you think you can help me with that? Do you know anywhere where I could call ?"

"I will look into it, please say you can do this for me, I have talked you up to these people and they are so excited to work with you." Frans voice was so nervous that Jessica was going to say no, Jessica picked up on all of this and decided to make it work"Thanks Jess, I will call you back if I find anything, let me know if you do."

Jessica called a few places and was able to secure a room through her late husbands parents, they have a timeshare that they were able to get a room. After calling a few places that watch children but could not find anything, she came to her last resort, she called Amanda. She of course said yes even though it was the last day of her honeymoon. Jessica quickly packed then took a taxi to the airport to quickly grab a flight to Ohau.

The next morning Jessica got ready, at 9:30 Amanda arrived and she ran downstairs with her cameras to go and meet Fran. She got in and started to grill Fran.

"OK Fran, I am here, I have done everything you asked of me, what is going on, who am I working with?" Jessica asked a little forcefull.

"Alright, I am not sure if you know these people but it is Dog from Dog and Beth on the hunt."

"I've heard of it, what do they need me to do?"

"You are going out on a hunt with them to get some action shots and to document the day, I told them you are the best and that with your self defense and training backround that you would be the best for the job, you know what to do if there is trouoble."

"Hey I didn't realize that I was going to be put in this position, you know I would have never said yes to this otherwise, that is why you didnt tell me right?"

"Partially, I know you worry, but these people are the best in the world, if I thought you were in danger like that I would not have asked you."

Before Jessica could really get into it with her they had arrived on location. They got out of the car and walked to the backdoor, once they were let inside Jessica was introduced to a lovely blonde woman.

"Hi I am Beth Chapman, Dogs wife, Nice to meet you, Fran has just raved about you, says that you would make a perfect fit for the team, we shall see. Please come in, We need to get started."

"Absolutely, thank you for this opprotunity Mrs. Chapman, I wont let you down." Jessica said as she was following into another room.

"Sure but just one thing, don't call me Mrs. Chapman, call me Beth, as long as you do as we tell you, you will be fine, now lets get started."
