Chapter 18: The kiss hits the air

When they got back to the hotel Beth met up with them in the lobby.

"How was your day?" She asked when they walked up.

"Amazing, so much fun." Jessica said with a smile.

"Good I am glad to hear it. Listen tomorrow is a early day, be down here by eight. We have to get a move on."

"Ok, will do." Jessica said.

"Leland can I talk to you for a moment?" Beth asked.

"Sure," he said turning to Jessica, "See you later."

"Ok, bye. Goodnight Beth."

"Goodnight." Beth replied as Jessica walked away. Beth turned her attention to Leland.

"I am taking it that you two are alright."

"Yeah, I apologized to her, it took her a while but she did forgive me, I wasn't sure if she was going to. She was so upset last night."

"I told you that, she was heartbroken. well I am glad that she is better. Hey listen tonight night the episode airs where your relaltionship is announced. Once people are introduced to her there could be some backlash toward her."

"Are they really putting it in?" He asked, a little angry

"Last I heard yes, but you never know. I just want to make sure she is ready for some negative responses."

"I will talk to her, I am sure she will be fine, I hope."

Leland went up to Jessicas room to go talk to her, when she let him in he went to sit down in a chair.

"Jessica, come over here we need to talk." he said to her.

"This does not sound good, should I be worried?" She replied thinking that now the rug will be pulled, she was happy again. She sat down and looked at him.

"Listen things might get a little different starting tonight, they are airing the episode where we kiss, and from what Beth tells me they are still going to air it. Which means you might see a lot of hurtful things on twitter and facebook."

"Ok, really should I be worried?"

"No, I just don't want you to get upset at all, because no matter what those people might post, you need to remember that it is not true, all that matters is that I love you and I think you are the best person in the world. You mean the world to me. Alright?"

"Ok, I promise I will try not to let it get to me."

"If you feel bad at all please tell me, because I will remind you how beautiful, sexy and wonderful you are." he said giving her a kiss.

"Ok, when is it on?"

"In five mins. Why?"

"Because I want to watch it to see if it is aired, I need to know if I am going to get a phone call from my mother. She knows we are dating but I don't think she will be expecting it to be on tv."

"I get it, come on lets watch."

"Oh my god, that is the one where that girl gets in my face, are they going to air that?"

"They might."

"Ok I better charge my phone, this might be a long night once my family sees that confrontation." she said plugging in her phone.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh trust me, my mom will be all over me saying I should just walk away, you are going to get hurt, I still haven't told her about the break in. I am sure Sarah will tell her, and I will get that call as well."
