Chapter 15;

I found out a lot about Juliet and her past. I also found out why ghosts were so dangerous and why demons had them as their slaves. Ghosts were kinda the protectors for the demons. Why? Juliet said that they can grab any organ they want from the inside of a body, and twist, turn, pull, and tear it right out. It disgusted me as she told me this because she had a grin on her face as she explained it to me. She tried to hide it, but didn't succeed.

I glanced over at Layne as we was explaining the plan to Labiba and Adrain about taking Austin out. I still didn't want them to do it. For 2 reasons; 1. I didn't want Austin killed, but at the same time, I did. 2. I didn't want Layne or Adrain risking their lives. I guess I care if Labiba gets killed too but she was too big of a bitch for me to care that much.

"Then it's settled. We do it tonight," Layne finished up.

I didn't hear any of what he was saying except that. "Do what tonight?" I asked.

Layne directed his attention towards me, and smirked. "Nothing, princess. You just stay here and sleep. We will take care of everything, okay?"

"Okay..."

Layne motioned for Labiba and Adrian to leave out the backdoor, leaving me and Juliet alone.

"What do you think they're doing?" I asked Juliet.

She quickly looked over to me, and then back at the ground. "Go to sleep, Cadence,"

*Laynes POV*

Adrain, Labiba, and I all started heading out towards the park. We didn't care about being seen or smelt, because that's what we wanted. We needed all the demons to know we're coming for them. Especially that bastard; Austin. I looked around to make sure we were safe, and motioned Labiba and Adrian to go hide. I walked down the small sidewalk of the park, passing the playground, and swings. I was soon over by the huge oak tree, and I started waiting around.

They were taking forever, and I thought they would've sensed me by now. I glanced at the ground for something sharp. I picked up a small, pointed rock, and sliced my wrist open. I had to get them to smell me. Black blood soon started oozing out at a slow pace, but it wasn't long before I was met face to... Well, ugly fucking face, with Austin, and his demon buddies.

I dropped the rock, and clenched my fists together. The wound would heal up in a matter of seconds, so I wasn't worried about it. Austin and his friends all started laughing and I had no idea why. It pissed me off.

"What do we have here?" Austin mocked. "A vampire in demon hour!" he announced to the rest of his demons. They all snickered.

"It's over, Austin," I murmured.

Austin laughed once more. "You think you can kill me? You can hardly kill a human without seducing them, so what makes you think you can kill a demon?"

I smirked. "You under estimate me, don't you?"

Austin stopped laughing, his face becoming serious. "Vampires can't do shit,"

I was the one laughing this time. "I'm not alone,"

The demons started looking all around the park, and sniffed. Austin called for a name I wasn't familiar with, and the boy came forward. He looked ashamed to be around Austin. I felt bad for him. He wasn't a demon, I could tell. He was something else... But what?

"Clark, go sniff them out!" Austin ordered the boy.

Clark nodded hesitantly, and shifted violently into a huge werewolf. He wasn't the ugly kind of werewolf. He was an actual wolf. He started sniffing the air, and I started panicking. Werewolves can sniff out vampires and kill them instantly. Which is why we formed a truce with them. We never really bothered with them anymore after that. Clark soon disappeared.
