DAY 6/PART 2

I woke up to the smell of pancakes and coffee, sun was shinning threw the window leaving sun rays on the walls and floor, because the sun was already high in the sky I assumed it was past 9am.

"Five hours of sleep, that's a new record." I said to myself sitting up in bed.

I absolutely loved pancakes, especially with fruits and maybe even a scope of vanilla ice cream on top, when I was a child every Saturday mum made pancakes for breakfast, that was like the big breakfast say, with French toast, eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit salad ect. I remember it clearly because I used to wake up extremely early to watch mum whip everything together, I was always aloud to pour the orange juice into the pitcher, but again as I got older things changed. On Saturday morning I would normally wake up to the house empty and I would make myself a bowl of cereal or just skip the meal all together. I stretched my body till the point that it hurt. You know that feeling? Were you stretch and then all a sudden it starts pitching and you feel like your muscles are just going to freeze in place? Yeah that kind of pain, I got up and tied my hair back and folded the blankets together and made sure the pillows were fluffed and looked neat, I then walked out and down the hall stopping in the guest room to find some socks, I actually think 75% of my socks are fuzzy ones. I found a pair of freshly watched pink fuzzy socks with grips on the bottom; I slipped them on and grabbed the grey sweater off my bed. As I walked closer to the kitchen the smell grew, it smelled of vanilla, pineapple, fresh coffee and eggs. The first person I saw while entering the kitchen was Niall, flipping pancakes and muttering something under his breath, probably because he wasn't happy with the way he flipped the pancake.

"You made breakfast." I said amused.

"Hey! Morning, yes I did. Louis is coming over too." He beamed.

"I am used to cereal and dry toast in the morning." I said giggling

"Yeah well, I thought I could switch it up a bit and make a nice breakfast." He said turning back to his pancakes.

"You know how much you love pancakes don't you?" I said grinning.

"Yes and you never make them because they always turn out shitty and are all black and taste funny." He said teasingly.

"Hey sorry I'm not a culinary chef." I huffed

"You don't need to be a culinary chef to whip up a few pancakes Al, its simple." He laughed.

"Ok I may not be great at pancakes but cookies, I'm really good at making cookies."

"You haven't baked in forever, even your banana bread is always amazing"

"See I'm good at making something at least." I smiled

"You should really bake sometime soon again, make the whole house smell like a bakery with all sort of cookies."

"I don't even remember the last time I baked to be honest." I said shaking my head and jumping up onto the counter. Niall didn't answer he jus kept flipping his pancakes, I was trying to think of the last time I baked, I just couldn't quite put my finger on it.

"Earth to Allie." Niall said waving his hands in front of my face.

"Mhm" I said snapping out of my thought.

"For the 3rd time can you go answer the door, Lou is here."

"Oh shit, yeah sorry I'm going." I said hoping back down from the counter and running to the door.

I opened the door and a cold breeze hit my legs, sending shivers up my spine causing my teeth to chatter for a moment, Louis was in black jeans and an Adidas sweater and his black and white Vans. He wasn't alone, he was with a pretty brunette who had medium length hair and had a friendly face.

"Morning Al" Louis said pulling me in for a hug.

"Who's your lady friend?" I said with a smirk plastered on my face.

"This is Danielle," he said with a grin on his face.

"Well please do come in, its freezing out." I said hurrying the two of them in and shutting the door quickly.

"It's nice to meet you Allie," she said with a warm smile on her face while sticking out her hand to shake mine.

"It is nice to meet you as well, sorry about my clothing attire, I'm not quite ready for the day yet." I said shaking her hand back.

"It's absolutely fine" she said and then took off her coat and shoes.

She wore black jeans with a red blouse, she really suited red. Made her hair and eyes stand out. I followed them both into the living room/ kitchen.

"Lou, Danielle! It's so good to see you two, I'm glad you could come" Niall said throwing his hands up in the air a little.

They continues chatting a little but me being me I completely zoned out and wasn't paying attention to the conversations, the only thing I heard was "Well breakfast is ready" and then I got up from the couch and took a seat in my chair. Niall' pancakes were amazing as usual, he make them with blueberries, normal and some with chocolate chip. My plate consisted of one pancake and a small bowl of fruit, with an orange juice. I haven't had much off an appetite these past few days and I swear I am eating less and less as the days go by, I felt bad because Niall put so much work into this breakfast and I hardly touched any of it, I nibbled on a strawberry while listening to Louis talk to Niall about getting some weird coffee machine, my mood switched frankly, just an hour ago I was in a good mood but now I just felt blank again. Then it popped into my mind.

"Niall" I said interrupting Louis In mid sentence.

"Yes?"

"I remember the last time I baked" I said starring at the strawberry in my hand.

"And?" he said longing the N.

"Harry and me baked cupcakes at the flat a few months back for Anne's birthday."

The room fell silent, I hated that. I hated the silence because I knew they just didn't want to say anything because I am "fragile" and I might break again for freak out.

"Anyways. Thanks for breakfast." I said standing up with my plate, which still had a half eaten pancake on it and placed my plate on the counter and made my way back to the couch.

"You hardly touched your food." Niall said sternly.

"I know I am sorry." I said silently, not wanting to be yelled at.

Again, Niall didn't respond he just ducked his head and continued eating and chatting with Louis, I definitely felt rude because I had barely said anything to Danielle, she probably thinks I'm a huge bitch or something for ignoring her and leaving in the middle of breakfast. Normally I would be up to meeting new people, I mean she seemed like a sweet heart but I felt, as if I might be rude to her without meaning to be. I heard footsteps coming towards the couch and I was about to make a snarky comment because I thought it was Niall, but I turned my head to see it wasn't Niall, and a flood of relief washed over me because I was just about to open my big mouth and be rude.

"Do you mind if I sit?" she said gently.

"No of course not, take a seat." I said in my nicest tone.

"I wanted to apologize, maybe it wasn't the best idea of me to tag along today." She said looking past me.

"Danielle, its absolutely fine. I am glad you came. I am just a little off and you have no reason to be apologizing. I should be the one apologizing." I said and my instant reaction was to put my hand on her arm cause I felt bad.

"You're going though an extremely rough time, I fully understand. I am sorry this happened, really. You seem like a very sweet and loving girl from what I have heard from everyone and I really hope things get better not only for you but for him as well."

"Thank you Danielle. Maybe we could go for coffee sometime when I am feeling more myself?"

"I would love that" she said pulling me in the a hug.

Hi guys! Well, Allie is a complete mess literally in every chapter. I wish Harry was back in the story so she could be happy again. More updates coming soon and like I have been saying for a while something big is happening. Stay tuned. -A
