Day 14 Part 1

ALLIE'S POV

I woke up at eight in the morning with a pounding headache, I groaned into the pillow before turning on my side. There was a note, glass of water and aspirin on the bedside table, the curtains were slightly open, letting in the bright morning sunshine, still lying on my side I grabbed the note and read it.

"Morning Al, you said Ben was coming at nine so I thought it would be best if I was out of the house. I'll be back later and then we can still talk if you want. I know how killer your hangovers are so here's some aspirin. I'll see you later."

-Niall

I turned back onto my back and closed my eyes, as the events from last night came flooding back into my memory. I ran both hands through my hair, "what the fuck am I even suppose to say him" I said out loud to myself. I lay still for a few more minutes trying to figure out what I could possibly say to Niall, sorry wouldn't do it; I knew he would want an explanation for my drunken outburst last night. I didn't want to tell him that the nightmares were back because I knew he would feel pity for me and I am sick and tired of that, but then again he and Harry are the only ones that know about my nightmares. I forced myself up out of bed and into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth twice and used mouthwash to get the disgusting taste out of my mouth and throat; I then quickly hopped into the shower to wash my hair and the rest of my body. After I was showered I put a pair of black leggings on and my maroon colored sweater from PINK, I decided to put no makeup one because I knew that I wouldn't be leaving the house today, the only thing I did was blow dry my hair, which I normally don't ever do but I didn't want a towel around my head when Ben showed up. I haven't seen Ben in over a year, and I honestly thought I would never see him again because I was doing so well.

I strolled into the kitchen to make m three cups of coffee, I remembered how much how much Ben used to drink coffee so I decided to brew two more cups for him, just in case he hadn't had any this morning. I opened to the fridge to see what I could eat for breakfast; the first thing I saw was a bowl of clam chowder soup, probably what Niall had eaten last night, I slammed the fridge door shut to keep from gagging, I swear that is the nastiest soup out there. My stomach was turning from the hangover anyways so I thought a light breakfast snack would do it instead, I cut up one banana and two nectarines into a bowl and mixed them together, I ate the bowl while the coffee brewed because coffee tastes funny after you eat fruits. I sat on the bar stool swinging my legs back and forth, my mind drifted off into s thought of what Niall might say to me later, normally I can predict his actions but this was unpredictable, I did something that in his eyes was unforgivable, quite frankly I am not even sure I can forgive my own actions from last night.

I heard the doorbell ring, waking me from my thoughts. I hopped down from the chair and nervously made my way to the door, I opened it to find Ben in a dark olive green button up and black jeans, he looked exactly like the way I remember him, styled brown hair, ocean blue eyes and a small scuffed beard. A small shy grin took over his face,

"Good morning Allie, how are you feeling?" he asked softly.

"Beside a pounding headache, I am fine thanks, come in." I said hurrying him inside the warm house.

He gave me a warm smile and then stepped into the house, taking off his shoes and then hanging up his black jacket onto the rack, I started to make my way back into the kitchen and he followed closely behind me.

"Do you want a coffee?" I asked him before he took place at the table.

"I'd love one thank you." He smiled.

"Milk and sugar?" I questioned while pouring the coffee into a bug blue mug.

"Just a tad milk, I don't need sugar, I am sweet enough." He joked with a childish grin on his face.
