Part 5

Ollie's PoV

We got to stay the night in the cave on mattresses.
We hike back to camp.
'So. Shall I say the snake almost slithered over me?' I hear Zosia joke.
I nod but Dom disagrees.
'No more interesting! I saved Zosia from her near death experience when the snake almost killed her.' Dom fantasises.
Zosia tells him that would never happen and they scwabble over what they should say.
They are racing back to camp to tell their news.
I run past the pair of them.
'What a night!' I shout exaggerated.
Zosia pouts at me and Dom gives me the evils.
I smile.
'Yes. Luckily Ollie saved me from the snake though!' Zosia laughs.
I look at her confused.
Her digs me in the ribs, 'Didn't you Ollie.' She smiles.
I nod. 'Yes.' I say walking past her walking into her shoulder.
Dom rolls his eyes and slumps on his hammock.
I signal my finger 'come here' to Zosia.
She walks over.
'Yes?' She smirks.
'Why did you say I saved you?' I ask.
She looks into my eyes. Not this again. She takes me into a trance..
'I'm not sure.' She sighs.
I see the cameras next to us.
I don't even care.
I place a kiss on her delicate lips before walking back into camp.
She follows me back in after a minute or two.
She looks at me.
I look at her.
She looks at me.
I look at her and she looks at me.
We look away awkwardly.
Why did I do it.. kiss her.
It's just made us distant.
