I could feel his eyes on my skin, staring into my soul, as I sat cross-legged across the bar, sipping on a cool, Apple Martini in my glass, staining it with my bright red lips.

I could feel his eyes intensely observing my every move, outlining every hook and curve of my body that my dress enhanced, with his bright, emerald eyes.

When I looked up from my booth, we locked eyes, and it seemed like we were the only two in the room. All the sounds of the party around us fainted out and all the people disappeared.

The way he stared at me was intense, quite overwhelming, but still mesmerizing. I could feel the sexual tension rising between us and I didn’t even know his name. I couldn’t even see his face.

Our stare was broken when I felt a slight tap on my shoulder, looking up to see Miranda, a friend of mine and the host of the party standing before me.

“Why are you over here alone? It’s a party.” she asked me, taking a sip from her drink, from what seemed to be a Lemon Drop Martini.

“Oh, no reason. I guess there’s just nobody to really talk too.” I told her, quickly scanning the room to find the mysterious man across the room.

“Oh, well, I’m here now! Did you see Sarah’s dress?” Miranda said, quickly rambling on about every other girl in the room.

I seemed to tune her out, looking for the man across the bar, searching the spot I had seen him before.

“Oh! Hello Harry!” I heard Miranda say excitedly, snapping me out of my gaze, and into the gaze of the person who stood before me.

“Hello, I’m Harry” I heard him say, as he stared down at me, with those intense, green eyes that had stared into me a few moments ago.

His all white, button shirt was tucked into his black, fitted jeans, and he wore a grey blazer with black buttons on top. He wore a pair of all black shoes to match his jeans and a dark belt to cinch his outfit together.

His eyes were an intense shade of green, with hints of blue and grey surrounding his pupil. He had a defined jaw line and full, pink lips, with shaggy, brown hair, that spiraled in chocolate curls.

He had two deep dimples that sunk into his cheeks when he flexed his smile, flashing his pearly white teeth into a smile that spread widely across his face.

“Nice to meet you, Harry” I said, holding my hand out, of which he kissed the palm of, instead of giving a handshake, which I intended for.

“Nice to meet you too, love” he said, flexing one dimple this time when he did a half smile, of which I knew he used when he flirted with a girl.

“I’ll just leave you too alone” Miranda said, before winking at me, and scurrying away quick, in her black pumps.

“So, why are you over here alone?” he asked, looking deeply into my eyes, seemingly interested.

“There’s no one to really talk too” I said, before a paused and looked up from my drink.

“A few guys have tried to talk to me, but they all seem so.. insecure” I said, flashing a smile at him.

I wanted him, tonight, and I knew he wanted me as well. Yes, I was sure he could get another girl for the night, but I had a feeling that he was set on me for the night, and I wasn’t going to let him have me without a fight.

“Insecure?” he said, cocking an eyebrow up at me.

“And what makes you think I’m insecure?”

“Well, Mister, I never said that you were insecure, now did I?”I said, letting a small smirk appear on my face.

“I never got your name’ he said, leaning into his chair, sliding closer to me.
