-Chapter 1-

I blinked my eyes and yawned. My eyes squinted at the bright sunlight that was coming from the window beside me as I raised my left hand to block it from further hurting my eyes. What the hell, I could just close it. Why didnt I think of that? Ahhh... Much better.

I stretched trying to loosen my body. My back was stiff and aching when I tried to sit up straight. How long had I slept in this posture?

Sitting next to me was a young couple. The lady was snuggling into her husband's chest and they were still in dreamland. Such a cute couple. A smile formed on my face as I looked at them. They looked so happy together.

-Flashback-

"Hi honey, what is your name?" a lady said as she plopped down on the seat next to me. Her husband was putting their bags into the overhead compartment.

"Name's Ashley" I smiled to them. She reached out her hand and I shook it.

"Well, nice to meet you, Ashley darling. I'm Katie and that is my husband Jack. I call him Jackie."she laughed, pointed at him. He waved at me and took a seat next to his wife. "Jackie reminds me of Johnny Depp. You know, Jack Sparrow in the show 'Pirates of the Caribbeans'. His beard and everything." she laughed.

The more I looked at him, the more he looked like Jack Sparrow. "Come to think of it, he really does." I told her and she couldn't stop teasing her husband while he tickled her every time she does. I laughed at how funny and adorable they were. "Okay, enough of our childish act." Katie smacked Jack playfully and turned to me.

"Okay, I am bored." she whined like a small kid.

"Why don't you ask her questions babe." Jack suggested.

"Great idea!" she pecked him on the cheeks and turned to me. "Do you want to try?" she asked.

"Sure why not?" I shrugged.

"Okay. First one, when a rooster lays an egg on a hill, which side of the hill will the egg roll to? Left, right, front or back?" Katie asked me giving me an evil grin.

"I bet she can't answer it." Jack said.

I gave a long thought and "None of the above! Roosters don't lay eggs!" I yelled out the answer with satisfaction. I found out her trick. Both of them laughed at my reaction. "You can't trick me that easily." I told them.

"Not bad for a young lad." Jack laughed.

"People in front! Mind if you keep it down? I'm trying to get some shut eye!" an deep angry tone from the seat behind said and startled us. Katie apologized to him and all three of us blushed then giggled.

"Next one, 1000 pounds of feathers or 1000 pounds of steel is heavier?"she said softer than before. Think.. there must be another trick behind this. I gave a suspicious look and wondered. "Come on! Give an answer." Katie's voice was getting impatient. My answer was 1000 pounds of steel. Both of them laughed at me and told me that 1000 pounds is the same weight no matter what the object is. My mouth formed an 'o' and my cheeks were flaming red.

That was so true. "Stupid questions" I mumbled under my breath.

I spent a long time blushing and groaning at every question I got wrong. That was so embarrassing. Out of 10 question, I only knew the first one.
