-Chapter 30-

The horrible memories started to flood back in as I knealt on the floor with tears streaming down. There was no where to run now.

What were they doing here?

"Ashley?" the guy walked forward coming in front me, kneeling down to my level. He had a sly grin on his face as lifted my chin  to make me look at him. I flinched and backed away.

The horror was right in front of me. My palms were all sweaty and my heart leaped. A shiver went down my spine as he made his way closer to me.

"I am not going to hurt you." he said softly.

"I dont believe you." I mumbled back. My lips were trembling as I managed to get those words out. My head was swirling with those horrible things he did to me.

I was more than scared, I was terrified. I thought I was never going to see them again but I was wrong.

Very wrong.

Seeing them again sent me tearing up, heartbreaking and like a stab to the soul.

"I promise." he said taking another step closer. He had the innocent expression plastered on his face, the one I fell for.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I screamed pushing myself backwards away from him, hoping I get someone's attention.

"Get a grip of yourself honey. You're such a baby." the lady from the car came out with her 5 inches heels and rolled her eyes at me.

She was wearing a pink glittery dress that was so short that it didnt even cover up her ass. Such a freaking slut. I had no idea how I was related to her.

"Moth- No. Haley."

"Ashley darling. Good to see you again." she had the fake smile plastered on her stupid face. Fake. Fake. Fake.

I growled. "What do you want?"

"Just to see you. See hooking up with them Brannons', I see?"

"ASHLEY!" Zach came running out of his house. He helped me stand up as he shield me away from my monsters, my nightmares.

My hero.

"LEAVE!" He ordered in a stern tone.

"Just let me talk to her." the guy said sweetly, not wanting to scare me off. 

"Gawd. Did you finally get him now?" the lady walked towards Zach, batting her long eyelashes flirtatiously at him. "I didnt know you were a sucker for her. I have no idea what you see in her." she snickered.

"Leave her alone." he hissed as I tugged onto him.

"I could give you so much more." she trailed her fingers along his muscular arm, grinning evilly. Her words made me want to puke on her fake face so badly.

"NO! Leave or I'll call the police. NOW!" he threatened through gritted teeth, thankfully not falling for her stupid seducive voice, pulling his arm away from her. They retreated but a glint in the guy's eyes said he was not giving up so easily.

"You okay, Ashley?" I didnt respond. Instead I hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me as though he was keeping me safe. My legs were too weak and I couldn't move. I was too scared to react as I stood there in his arms.
