Chapter 4 - Waterfall confession

-Chapter 4-

I groaned as I pushed my annoying, beeping alarm clock down from the side table next to the bed and wanted to go back to sleep but the loud crash from it made me realize what I had done and it was not good. 

"Darn, There goes my 3rd alarm clock this year." I sighed and mumbled to myself. I sat with an upright position on the bed and stared at the innocent destroyed object with its parts scattered everywhere.

"3rd one? Really? You have got to learn to wake up without breaking your clock." a deep voice said and gave me a huge fright. I looked towards that person and saw that the familiar voice was my father's.

"Were you standing here the whole time?" I asked groggily and he nodded.

My hands stretched out as I yawned but still couldn't bring myself out of the bed. I heard my father leave and I realised something. Why was I not in my sleeping shirt? I was still wearing my cardigan and tight jeans. Where was I before this? Was I that tired and didn't bother to change? I couldn't remember the part before I went to bed.

It was like a missing piece of my puzzle.

"Get up Ashton!" Tobey voice boomed as he banged against the door. Before I could get to the door to open it, they let themselves in. All of them were grinning from ear to ear when they walked in one by one.

"Good morning! Rise and shine!!!" James sang as he bounced up and down on my bed like a child. It didn't really bother me as I dragged my feet into the bathroom for a shower. I let the warm water clean me as I closed my eyes. It felt great and fresh after a bath. I put on a blue top that had a cute bunny picture on it and a pair of short white pants.

My feet stepped out of the bathroom and I stared at them. Tobey was silently doing my cross word puzzles, James was lying on my bed trying to take a nap and Zach was staring at a picture of me at a party with them. They were all minding your own business as I cleared my throat to get their attention.

"Oh, you're out already. Come on then." Tobey said and released the things he was holding to walk out of my room.

"Where are we going." I knew I wasn't going to get an answer but tried asking anyways. True enough, nobody replied me and walked out. I sighed and followed them out into their car. This time it was Zach's car.

"So, how was your sleep, sleeping beauty?" James asked when we were stepped into the car. I shrugged and asked him what happened at the party and why was I still in my outing clothes when I woke up.

"You fell a sleep on Tony's lap again. You were really tired so Zach volunteered to bring you up because Tony wanted to eat again. I personally think he might get married to food in the future." he laughed. His statement refreshed my mind and the part of the memory came back, including the part where a certain guy said 'I am Kyle, not Tony'.

"So, where are we heading to?" I repeated my question to distract myself from that thought, looking at James.

"You and your curiosity." was all he said before he continue fiddling with his phone. 

I didnt let my curiousity die down as I started nudging him, tickling him and everything I thought of that could let him spill the beans. But nothing worked.

"Oh come on. Why the surprises?" I pouted. 

"Fine, I'll let you into the secret!" he said.

"What, what is it?" Excitement taking over.
