-Chapter 25-

"I'm so nervous."

"Dont be, dad."

"I am so worried something might go wrong." He said standing in front of the mirror, fixing the hem of his tux.

"Dad, it is going to be just fine." I said giving him an encouraging smile.

"Nervous? What is there to be nervous? You have done it before." Aaron said and my eyes widen. Wrong choice of words. Was he really that dumb of an idiot?

"Yeah. And it didnt turn out well did it?" Dad muttered as I bit my lower lip.

"Look, my mum loves you. She aint going to leave you at the aisle." Aaron rolled his eyes and I nudged him.

"What?" he mouthed and it was my turn to roll my eyes.

"I didnt think of that." Dad's face was more worried than before.

"Well thanks for making him more nervous when there was a slight chance I could calm him down." I whispered sarcastically and he shot me an apologetic look.

"Sorry. I'll stop talking." he whispered back.

"Yeah you should. Get out of here while I handle this." I hissed as he got up and left.

"Dad, everything will be fine. Trust me. Trust yourself." I smiled, rubbing his back.

"I am sorry pumpkin. I didnt mean to make you worried about me. I've moved on anyways. Dont worry about your old man here." he smiled.

"I am sorry dad." I apologized and he frowned.

"It was never your fault. Stop blaming yourself." he told me.

"I-I.."

"It is not your fault and never will be. " he smiled. "Now be happy for me! I am getting married."

"I am elated for you. I love you daddy." I embraced him, hiding my head in his chest, his cologne smelt really nice and he hugged me back. When we parted, he smiled and shoo-ed me out of the room to help Andrea.

"Mr Evans, Will you take this lady as your beloved wife?"

"Yes I do."

"And do you Ms Perrins take this man as your beloved husband?"

"I do." She said with no hesitation. Her wedding gown was a vera wang and it flowed beautifully down until below ankle's length.

"I now pronounce you man and wife." The priest said as my dad slipped the wedding ring into Andrea's finger and she did the same to him too.

"You may now kiss the bride." My dad leaned in to kiss his wife with passion and love as everyone in the church cheered.

"This is so romantic." Evelyn said as she clapped for the newly weds.

"It is. He finally found happiness." I mumbled smiling to myself. Nothing could go wrong.

"Do you know Aaron personally?" Evelyn popped the question out of nowhere.

"What?"

"Let me rephrase my question. Why is he the best man?"

Before I could say anything, everyone gathered around the newly weds to congratulate them, and I was dragged away.

There was a lunch serving behind the church. It was held in the garden which was beautifully decorated. Everyone adjourned to their tables.
