I finished my homework early, so I decided to update :)

I don't think I've ever said this but I don't actually speak Spanish, like it's not a native language of mine but I take it in school so if any of it is wrong I blame all my Spanish teachers and you should too.

I'm getting two new piercings soon and I'm super duper excited!

6. Rowan

He lied. 

He never called, his business was never failing. He lied to me. 

I waited and waited by the phone for hours that day, waiting for his call, but it never came. It still hasn't come. It's been 5 months, and I still haven't heard from him. He seems fine though, seems like everything in his life is going fine and dandy, at least it's how his twitter portrays it. 

Rosa's been keeping me updated with the latest and greatest of Austin Mahone. How his company went from the third largest and fourth most successful to the second largest and the second most successful. How he found himself a girlfriend that could even put Kate Upton to shame. 

I guess I just want to know where I went wrong, what did I do to make him leave? I guess it's something I'll never know. 

"Rowan" My mother speaks from my doorway. 

"Yes Ma" I turn around to face her, tossing my hair over my shoulder.

"You need to get going" She speaks slowly, her accent making her words sound jumbled.

"I know" I nod, grabbing my jacket from my bed. I sigh and pull my jacket over my shoulders, dreading the events to occur.

"Rowan, él no es malo" My mom places her hand on my shoulder. (He's not bad)

"I know" I nod, walking past her. I roll my eyes once she's out of my view, hating the fact she has the nerve to set me up on a date. I walk to my front door when there's a knock against it, swinging it open I'm surprised to see it's a fairly attractive guy standing at my door, but he has nothing on Austin.

"Hi" I smile politely.

"Hi" He leans in for a hug, and I awkwardly hug him back "It's nice to meet you" 

"You too" I nod. 

"Hasta luego" My mom shoves me out of the door, slamming it behind me. (See you later)

I follow whoever this guy is, my mom failing to tell me his name out to his car, getting into the passenger seat once he gets into the drivers side. He doesn't even attempt to make small talk with me as we drive to wherever he's taking me. 

I just hope it's not Italian, I like it and all but I've been eating spaghet- Damn it! I mentally huff as he pulls into the parking lot of an Italian restaurant. He gets out of his car without a word and I follow him inside. We're seated almost immediately and I excuse myself to the bathroom, when I get a text from Rosa telling me she has something important to tell me. 

When I get to the bathroom, I check to make sure it's empty before locking the door. I dial her number, pressing the phone against my ear.

"Hey! So I was snooping as I usually do and Austin tweeted something and I think it's bout you!" She says in excitement.

"What did he say?" I ask, picking at my finger nails.

"I'll send you screenshots" She says, and within seconds my phone is vibrating. I put Rosa on speaker and open the pictures.

@austinmahone: I miss you, I miss you so much. </3

"Rosa, that could be about anyone" I huff.

"But there's more keep going" She demands and I sigh, scrolling to the next picture.

@hoeformahone: Who? Your girlfriend Bethany? You two are goals.

@austinmahone: @hoeformahoneThanks, but no. I miss someone I met in New York a while ago...

"Who else could he have met?" She asks rhetorically.

"Rosa, he was here for a while. It's not me, I'm like 99 percent sure" 

"99 percent isn't 100"

"Well, then I'm 100 percent sure it's not about me" I roll my eyes, and I hear her sigh.

"Rowan, he misses you"

"If he misses me, he'd call me. But he hasn't and I don't want to hear it" 

"You changed your number so what if he can't!" 

"I haven't changed my number" I say quickly.

"Oh" She drawls out "Nope, my mom did scratch that" 

"You're a loser, but I have to go. My mom set me up on a date and I locked myself in the bathroom. I don't want to be here" 

"Oh shit! My cat just died" She screams.

"What? You don't have a- Oh!" I cut myself off "I need to help you" I run out of the bathroom and to the mystery guy.

"My best friends cat just died and she's devastated I have to go comfort her" I say, and he looks up from his phone. A bored expression on his face.

"Alright, bye" He says, and I shrug, walking out of the restaurant. I hail a cab and take it to Rosa's house, letting myself in.

"Hey!" She says, running down her steps "So I called him!" 

"What?" 

"Yeah, I've had his number for a while and I've never used it because I didn't know why I should use it but I did and yeah" She rambles on, scrolling through her phone.

"So?" 

"So what?" She looks up.

"What did he say?" 

"Oh right" She locks her phone putting it into her pocket "I was right, it was about you though I wasn't supposed to tell you. He didn't tell me why he hasn't talked to you, but he said he misses you, and he's sorry for ignoring you" 

"If he misses me he should call, otherwise he's just lying again" I roll my eyes, sitting down on her couch.

"Boys are stupid" She sits down next to me.

"I agree"
