Two

Kushina Uzumaki and Minato Namikaze had made a large dinner for me to welcome me. Kushina shows me around their house while my grandparents help Minato finish setting the table.

"Yuki, I know the loss of our clan is a heartache that will never truly go away. The Leaf will offer you a new life one that can solace for your future."

"I don't want solace I want a chance to right this wrong. I know war is coming and I want my part in it," I stare at the plain bedroom.

"War is coming. It's better to be prepared with a calm mind and not running on emotions."

"We got you a few things but we can go back to the market and get you more later today. I'd like to get you some things for your room. So you can get some things for yourself."

We return to the dining table just in time to eat. And the food was amazing. Minato was indeed a great cook.

After we ate we headed into town to show me around the village. We stopped at a few shops and I was able to get a few more outfits to see which I could like. I get new shoes as well. Some black sandals that were very comfortable.

A few stores over we stopped in, and I was able to find some new clothing options. A few outfits I tried on I'm sure they did just to get me to laugh. One was an outfit very similar to my grandmother's.

"I hear it's very popular Yuki," Kushina smiled amused and I told her she was selling to the wrong age group and tried the dark blue jumpsuit she found me.

The jumpsuit had a low back with puffy shorts that cut off at mid-thigh. I liked that detail.

"I think high boots would look best with this," I say loudly as I look for a jacket under all the maybe outfits.

I found the one I liked that was part of a green suit and under the red two-piece I had just taken off three outfits ago. The jacket and shorts weren't a nice combo.

I slip on the dark blue, off-shoulder jacket. It had three pockets on the front and one on each sleeve.

"Oh, I like that one the best!" My grandfather speaks up and I agree.

The shopkeeper hands me high-top boots and socks. I put them and head to the mirror.

"It looks good. Want to keep it on? And see if we find anything else?" I nod and we pay for the clothes.

We stopped at a weapons store and I was able to get new kunai and a few daggers.

I also get scrolls and empty tags for seals. I have to replace everything.

By the time we finished shopping, it was almost dinner time so they took me to a BBQ place nearby for me to try.

"How about we go through the Uchiha estate so you can meet some people?" My grandmother asks and I agree.

We make our way to the other end of the village to the Uchiha estate. The home of my mother's clan.

To think she left everything for my father and returned to his village for love. The last time I was here I was eight months old. I don't recall the trip

But I recall my siblings talking about it, they would gush on about the sweets. A visit to the Leaf always followed the birth of a child.

I return to the present as we pass the training grounds, a few Uchiha are training on the open field, and I question when I could start training. I wanted to try out the new eyes I was given.

"Yuki, do you know the difference between the Mangekyou Sharingan and the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan?" My grandmother asks as we begin walking again.

"No not really. I just know the changing of eyes was needed because I overused my own," I speak calmly, and she nods.

"How long did you have the Mangekyou Sharigan for?" I think back.

"Waking up from an explosion and seeing my village in flames awakened my eyes. I had little time to figure out how to use them but I managed to get the job done." We stop moving when my grandmother comes to a halt.

"What were your abilities?" She questions.

"With my right eye I can manipulate the perception of time and my right eye can manipulate the movement of my targets," I speak up.

"What were Hatakis ablities again? Chakra manifestations and what?" My grandfather tries to recall.

"He could manifestations four to six spheres of Chakra with the left eye and a genjustu with the right. He has had access to a susano," I speak up and they nod.

"You should start training sooner rather than later," I nod in agreement.
