Nine

The next few weeks fly by with simple errand missions and patrols resulting in no one new appearing. It's early in the morning when we receive orders to move west to a small Artisan weapons village that's going to become a target.

So we pack up and leave after a small breakfast. We arrive at dusk, Sisho Sensei leaves us to patrol the steak so he can speak to the leaders of the Village.

Eiji creates high walls at the entrances and I sent up seals across the front grounds. I let them know everyone knows the seals' locations.

I bite my finger and use a summoning jutsu to call Tiga a two-foot white, red-eyed spider, "you call for me lady Yuki?" Her soft sweet voice says and I nod.

"Yes, Tiga can you get your webs across the trees around town and ensnare and stop any intruders please," she nods and rushes away.

I activate my eyes and send out spheres to leave explosion seals at the forest edge in front of the village, at random areas fifty yards out and almost a mile away from the forest and out into the clearings that leave to the village.

So that I can know when we are being approached.

I return to the gate as Eiji and Ryko finish their patrol, "clear on my-" a massive rock goes flying hitting Ryko directly and smashing him against the village walls.

Why didn't I sense that? Too far? Seconds later I felt one after another person appear

Was that a lucky shot? Or did some have that skill?

"Ryko!" I activate my eyes and send spheres and the numbers multiply each time. I trap those in my chakra with a seal causing them to explode.

"He's gone Eiji. We need to focus there's thirty-six. No forty-eight. They're coming in droves. Go get  sensei!"

He rushes inside and I seal the village in a barrier, before recalling my clones and creating three more.

I no longer have to worry about overusing my eyes and my chakra won't be drained as much. I'll take as much chakra as I can.

Tiga sends a small spider to her informing me of more intruders, "I would like to devour them. It is easier than webbing them and letting them escape to you."

I tell her she is free to do what's best to ensure the coast stays clear. I send a clone in each direction of the village sides. Before rushing into the forest. I use a chain to throw me in the air and land in the middle of a twenty-eight-member squad. I expand the circle under my feet and freeze time. I quickly kill them all before moving on to the next group of Sand ninjas.

I take them down quickly before using a clone to collect chakra. While I continue cutting down the fifty-two men.

Once I'm done I head to the left side of the village and help Tiga miniature spiders take care of the thirty-two who went around to the left side of the village.

I clear the rest of the forest around the town then lower the barrier.

After an earful from Sisho Sensei, he asked what was left and I told him all intruders were dealt with.

"I capture fourteen of the thirty-four that came my way," Tiga comes dragging fourteen human-sized cocoons, "they have an hour of breathable air."

"You've tripled in size Tiga!" I say in astonishment.

"I have eaten well," she says as she leaves the cocoons I'm front of us.

She was fix feet tall and ten feel long. A red body with white fur. She hands me two spider contracts.

"These are for you. Please sign them you could use more allies," I thank her and I quickly put them away.

Eiji and I remove the rock from the wall and collect what is left Ryko.

Eiji vomits as half of Rykos head, left arm and right leg was all that was left. I pull out a scroll and seal what is left of him away.

"Why did you do that?" Eiji questions and I tell him so we can return to his parents when we return.

The next few days we get more Sand ninjas and we take them down without much of a fight.
