The next day you head to the base. There's no time to waste. The situation is serious and you need to respond as fast as possible to the approaching threat. 

You close yourself in your office, determined to focus. Turning the pages of the reports from the other informers you hired, you carefully review their findings. You can't trust Orihara completely, so you've ensured multiple streams of information. You analyze the data they've provided, cross-referencing it with intelligence from other trusted sources—individuals who offer privileged insights into various groups and entities.

The reports are detailed, covering key aspects of the Awakusu-kai: their members, businesses, connections, past operations, and more. Every page paints a clearer picture of their intricate web, but gaps remain, leaving you to wonder what vital pieces might still be missing.

Izaya's words play in your mind once again."External faction - the faction is a small but well-armed group from outside the city. They're looking for a share in Ikebukuro's lucrative underground market, and the Awakusu-kai has promised them a cut if they help take you down."

An external faction, another group that works in secret with Awakusu-kai to coordinate an attack to destabilize your operation in Ikebukuro and most likely in another part of the city. Wrong decisions and approaches could seriously endanger your people and organization.

You came prepared, and your people prepared the layout for your operation of expanding the drug business in Ikebukuro. It's only reasonable that the ruling organization isn't happy about intruders, even so, you have made an agreement. 

Jean had met with Awakusu-kai in the past to make it as peaceful as possible. Peace can only last as long as cooperation overcomes the benefits of conflict, where the pursuit of power and dominance no longer outweighs the need for mutual understanding and compromise. But in a world driven by greed and ambition, such equilibrium is fragile, easily disrupted by hidden motives, betrayal, and the relentless hunger for control.

They most likely agreed to cooperate due to the power your organization possessed and the benefits that cooperation provided, and an open conflict would have caused great danger and loss. As expected, an agreement with a hidden agenda. Cooperation of a powerful organization such as Awakusu-kai with the external group or organization could land a devastating blow to your organization and the vultures will be quick to attack you, in an attempt to secure part of the wealth, territory and power your organization held. The external group is most likely an organization from another area of the city where you have a foothold. 

You lean back in your chair, the reports still open on the table in front of you, but your mind is elsewhere. You know that a direct confrontation with Awakusu-kai could lead to irreparable damage. However, not acting could make your organization vulnerable to a silent and strategic takeover.

The external faction's motives remain unclear, but if they are indeed tied to Awakusu-kai, they likely have more resources and influence than you've anticipated. This could be a carefully orchestrated play to weaken your position before moving in for the kill. You don't have the luxury of time to take it slow and gather more intel; you'll have to act quickly and with precision.
