Aphmau's POV
"I want us."
I swear my heart stopped beating. I tensed up, not knowing that to say back.
"I-I want us, too." I swallowed. "I'm just confused right now."
"What are you confused about?"
"E-everything." I admitted, yawning. My eye were growing heavy. "I just feel weird, like everything is moving too fast. We didn't even talk in high school, and classes haven't even started yet, and--"
"We don't have to rush it." He assured me. "Relationships that are pushed don't last. We can do it on our own."
I let out a relieved sigh. "Oh, I'm glad you feel the same way."
"Of course." He pressed his lips to my forehead. "Are you tired, babe?"
My face heated up at the nickname. "Y-yeah. I am."
"Then go to sleep." He softly laughed, sending chills down my spine. "I'll be here when you wake up."
"Okay." I sighed, trying to get closer to him. He let out a deep breath, probably trying to get to bed himself.
I shut my eyes lightly and began to think, but not for long. Soon, I felt numb and sleep took over me.
Finally, everything turned black.

I walked out of the bathroom, my wet hair draping over my shoulders. It was around 7:00 A.M.
I smiled to Garroth who winked at me before walking into the bathroom and shutting the door. I grabbed the brush off my bed and began untangling the knots.
When I was finished, I waited patiently until Garroth was done taking a shower or doing whatever he was doing. Eventually, he walked out, and I quickly blow dried my hair and threw on some makeup.
It was Levin's birthday today, so we were going to see him.
I threw on my black converse and picked up my phone, dialing Katelyn's number. She quickly answered.
"Hey!"
"Hey, Kate. Are you ready?" I asked, grabbing my wallet from the counter and Levin's present.
"Yeah. I'll be over there in a minute." She said.
"Good. I'm so excited to see them again." I smiled, leaning against the door.
"Me too! Oh, bye Jeffory!" She called out. "I'll be back later!"
"Okay, be safe." Jeffory's voice was quiet.
"I'll see you in like a minute." Katelyn said. "Be right there."
"Okay." I said. "See ya."
I clicked the 'hang up' button and looked up to see Garroth staring at me, smiling like an idiot.
"What are you looking at?" I asked.
"You." He replied. "Y-you look really pretty today."
"So do you." I said, then pausing when I realized my mistake. "N-no! I mean you look handsome today, not pretty--"
