*Sorry for the time skips. This book has a limit of chapters I don't want to exceed, or the plot and storyline will be kind of messed up.

Also, important A/N at the end, so be sure to read it! xo

Four Months Later
Aphmau's POV
Saturday, May 14th.

Great.

  My birthday.

I felt Garroth's arms wrapped around me, his breath on my neck.

"Finally, you're awake," his voice was low and husky, making me shiver. "Happy birthday, baby!"

    I groaned. "Don't even mention that. I'm 19!"

"You're beautiful, that's what you are." His face was buried into my shoulder. "This is now my favourite day, because this is the day you came alive."

"Cheesy." I smiled, turning to face him. "Very cheesy."

   "Sorry."

"But I love it," I grinned wider. "Thank you. I.. just don't like my birthday very much."

"Why not?" His eyebrows drew together.

"I don't like being the center of attention of everything."

"Well you're going to have to like it, because today you're going to be."

  I sighed. "Unfortunately."

"Don't be like that." He kissed my cheek, releasing his grip around me. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom. Be back in a minute."

He got up, bouncing off the bed and walking inside the bathroom.

I smiled as the door closed.

But the front door soon opened, revealing a screeching Katelyn.

"Happy birthday, you bitch!" She squealed, diving into my bed with me. She hugged my waist, making me laugh.

"How did you even get in?" I smiled down at her, seeing her blue eyes look back up at me.

"You left your key," she smirked, dangling it.

"Oh," I blinked.

She sat up. "So?! How does it feel to be 19?!"

"I feel old."

"I've been 19 for three months." She crossed her arms.

"Yeah, yeah." I rolled my eyes.

"I got you something." She smiled.

"Give me it!!" I squealed, bouncing.

"Mhm," she smiled wider. "Here, open it."

She handed me a small bag. I laughed, opening it.

Inside it was a box.

I quickly grabbed my glasses off the night stand.

I opened it, revealing a beautiful gold necklace with a diamond in the middle.

"Kate, this is beautiful!" I cried. "Oh my gosh!"

"I'd knew you'd like it." She laughed. "But it's nothing big."

"Aww, I love you!" I flung my arms around her neck, strangling her.

"Love you too," she breathed out, laughing.

"I've been replaced, I see." Garroth's voice made look up.
