Aphmau's POV

"I think that has been the most dramatic thing I've ever been through in my entire life," I explained to Laurance.

"Not as traumatizing as trying to kill yourself, amirite?" He slightly smiled, trying to make a joke.

  Wait.

You're probably wondering, when did Laurance wake up?

  He didn't.

As the paramedics were taking me away, I realized something.

I was walking on the outside of my own body.

At first, I thought I was dead. And I got here, then I saw Laurance walking around. But then I realized; 'hey! He's not awake yet. What?'

And he ended up explaining everything to me.

I was in some sort of world, trapped between Earth and death. But I could hear and see everything, just no one could see me. My body was still laid down on that hospital bed, but I was able to walk around.

I guess it's like a book I've read, titled 'If I Stay'. I never thought that could be true.

Except Laurance told me that I didn't have a choice to come back or not. Also, I wasn't in a coma they couldn't bring me out of. It was a medical one, so I wouldn't feel any pain and my body would cooperate better.

Also, the knife damaged barely anything,, and they would wake me up around noon today, which is Saturday. But that was only a part of what majorly happened.

Garroth was traumatized. He'd lost his best friend- temporarily - to a coma, and now his girlfriend was in one, too.

Katelyn has been a nervous wreck. She'd cry, then she'd scream, then she'd just go quiet. She was in the quiet faze now.

Wow. Too much intensity for one weekend, right?

My life has been nothing but drama since I've came to this school. It's not good.

But I secretly like it. I don't tell anyone, though.

Well, maybe not the kidnapping part and almost getting raped, but it was still an adventure.

   Now, back to Laurance.

"Yeah." I nodded. "I guess so."

I stared at Garroth, who had his head in his hands, leaning over my bed. Katelyn sat in the corner of the room, tapping her foot rapidly.

He was mumbling something, and I listened closer to hear what it was.

"...and let her be okay, God. I know the doctors say she will be, but I don't want to loose her. I can't loose her. I love her too much."

I smiled, leaving Laurance's side to sit down on the bed.

"He really likes you." Laurance chimed.

"He really does," I ran my fingers through Garroth's hair, even though he couldn't feel it.

"I..I missed you." Laurance said. "Both of you."

"Not as much as we miss you," I looked up to him. "Garroth pretends he's fine, but I know he's dying inside."

"I want nothing more than to wake up," he shook his head. "I do nothing all day. I see visitors and interact with some other people in comas, but that's it. This is horrible."

"I'm sorry," I said. I looked down to notice Garroth sobbing beside my bed.

My heart throbbed. It hurt so much seeing him cry over me.
