*yo idk when Aph's birthday is so I'm making up one xD
Aphmau's POV
No. Way.
I stared at him, my mouth going dry.
"What?" He blinked. "Do you not want me as your roommate..?"
"O-of course I do! I-it's just that.." I had a loss for words. "I mean.. I guess I thought I was going to get a girl."
Garroth yawned. "It's not going to be a problem, is it? I can ask to switch rooms if--"
"No! It's fine." I reassured him quickly. "I was just surprised."
I felt a slight blush creep up my face as Garroth nodded and brushed past me, his hand slightly resting on my shoulder. I shook it off and walked inside the dorm, shutting the door behind me.
"I see you've put everything up."' He laughed as he saw my side of the room compared to his. "I'd better get on that."
"Yeah." I smiled. "I remember you got here late or something."
"Something to that sort." He sat down on his bed, pulling out one of his bags from behind him.
"I have to still put my clothes and things away." I sighed, pulling out my luggage. "I wish it would just magically go in there."
"Don't we all?" He smiled. He looked down at his phone and I took the time to actually study his features.
His sharp jawline made girls melt, same with his nice shoulders and chest. He never actually had a girlfriend, he just hooked up with girls and went to parties.
I still didn't know why I had a crush on him all those years. We never talked, he never even seemed to look at me for all I know.
For all I know.
"Say, Aphmau," He said, looking up from his phone and snapping my attention back. "Uh.. Since we have nothing better to do while we're putting stuff away, why don't you.. uh, tell me about yourself?"
"There's not much to know." I shrugged. "I guess.. Uh, I have two brothers."
He smiled. "Me too. What about your birthday?"
"May 14th." I began folding and putting clothes away in my closet and dressers. "What about you?"
"January 6th." He did the same. "This is going to sound awkward, but.. Do you have a boyfriend or anything?"
"No, not at the moment." I thought. "What about you?"
He stared at me, and I realized what I said. "Shit! I meant do you have a girlfriend?"
"Ha. But, no...not yet." He smirked down as he looked at his clothes. What was he smirking about?
"I see." I nodded. We kept talking for a few more hours, till it was around 7:30. We had all our things in our bathrooms and closets and even our beds were made up.
I hugged my knees as I leaned against the wall, sitting on my bed. Garroth leaned against his wall, opposite from me. We were both laughing about something.
"It's nice getting to know you." He said, sheepishly. "I really regret not talking to you earlier. You're really cool, Aph."
"A-Aph?" I asked. His face went pale.
"O-oh! Sorry! Do you not like being called that?"
"No! It's cool! It's just.. The only person that calls me that is my mom and my friend." I laughed. "You can call me whatever."
