♡ Emily's POV ♡
"Em I have a surprise!" Liam cheered.
"What's so important that you had to wake me up at seven on a Saturday morning." I groaned through the phone.
"If you would stop complaining and let me tell you, you'd know what was so important..."
"Ok Liam I'm really tired. Please just tell me."
"Are you ready?!"
"Liam..."
"Fine! Fine! Management is going to let you come on the American tour with us! Surprise!"
My mouth dropped open. I was going to go to America? With Liam and the band? Liam's voice snapped me back into reality.
"Emily? You ok?" He asks laughing.
"You're serious?! My god Liam if you're screwing with me-"
"Would I lie about something like this?!"
"True. Oh my god! I get to go to America?! How did you persuade them to let me go?!"
"I told them that you needed me and that I needed you."
"Aw Liam you're so cute!"
"But it's true! We need each other like humans need oxygen."
"Liam. That was the worst pick up line I've ever heard in my life..."
"Well technically it wasn't a pick up line because you're already mine."
I felt him smiling through the phone. It was true. Even though I still don't believe it sometimes. I out of all people, can call Liam Payne mine.
"Yeah I guess..." I say and laugh.
"What do you mean I guess?!" He jokes.
"Liam I'm just kidding. But when do we leave?"
"Monday."
"Oh crap... Liam what about school? I still have classes. I'm going to be so far behind."
"Already thought of that."
"What?"
"I transferred you into an online school. You can finish while you're on tour. Plus I figured you wouldn't want to go back to that hell hole."
"You're amazing. You know that?"
"Aww thanks Em."
"No problem it's true."
"It may be true but I'll never be as amazing as you." He rhymes in a poetic voice.
"How long have you been working on that one?" I ask and laugh.
"Just came up with it now actually!"
"I can tell, you seem really proud of yourself."
"I am, I am!"
"Ok well I'll let you go. I have to pack anyways."
"Alright I'll be by to pick you up Monday. Why don't you hang out with Melissa? It'll be a while before you see her again."
"So now you're making plans for me? But yeah, Melissa and I haven't really spoken at all lately..."
"Oh... Maybe you should talk to her then. I wouldn't let something as good as a friend go."
"I don't know Liam. She's not talking to me for a reason. Whatever that reason is must be pretty serious because I've lost my only friend..." I say and sniffle.
