♡ Emily's POV

"A secret relationship?" Harry asks. "Are you sure you want to do that?"

I paused and looked up at Liam to find him already looking down at me. He intertwined his hand with mine and smiled. I sent one back up to him and looked at Harry. I couldn't think of what to say. I wanted so badly to get back together with him and now we have that chance again.

I started nodding before I spoke, "Yes I'm positive." I said with a smile and Liam squeezed my hand in response.

"If that's what she wants, it's what I want." Liam agreed.

Zayn was the first to get up and wrap me in a hug. I willingly squeezed him in return. Next thing I know all five boys are crushing me in a group hug. I laugh as all the boys begin to separate. Without them saying it I knew they were all happy that me and Liam have gotten back together. We weren't the same without each other. He wasn't the same Liam on stage and I had reverted back to my old self.

But now that I have him again I'm positive that I can try and stop myself. I feel like whenever I'm with him that I can do anything. He just gives me a sense of protection that I've never felt before. The self confidence that I've never had suddenly appears. He makes me feel like I belong.

No one has ever made me feel like that before. Melissa tried and no matter whether she believed it or not she didn't. I appreciate that she's always been there for me and tried to help me. But in all honesty, Liam is the only one who has ever actually convinced me that I am not completely worthless. That I mean something to people especially him and the boys. I've never meant so much to anyone as much as I mean to my friends. If I didn't have them, I don't know what I would do. They are the one's that keep me going, telling me that, I'm meaningful and that someone cares. I can't ever thank them enough for making me more confident in myself.

A knock on the front door knocked me back into reality. Liam raised an eyebrow and slid his hand away from mine as he left to answer the door. He stood there for a while before stepping to the side revealing the one and only Melissa.

My mouth dropped and tears stung the back of my eyelids. I hadn't seen Melissa since before I lost my memory and here she was standing in front of me. Her face mimicked mine. She took a sprinting step forward and I felt myself running towards her as well. Our bodies crashed together as we wrapped each other in our arms. She didn't say anything, I don't think she could and neither could I. All she did was cry as she squeezed me in a hug. I hung on to her as if my life depended on it as tears spilled down my cheeks as well.

I was finally reunited with my best friend. I missed her more than anything and I could tell that she missed me. We separated and she cupped my face into her hands.

"Please don't ever do that to me again!" She laughs as more tears trickle from her puffy, pink eyes.

"I'm not planning on it don't worry." I laugh and we wrap each other in another hug.

I was so happy to see my best friend again. I was ecstatic that I could just be in the same room with her. I missed her terribly and I can't imagine what life would be like if I had forgotten her completely. I'm so glad that I didn't.

I gave her one last hard squeeze before separating from her leaving us only an arm's length apart. We looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds before breaking away completely. I immediately returned to Liam's side and linked my elbow with his.

Melissa winked at me and I returned it as she finished saying hello to everyone. Liam pushed the door closed and we headed back to the lounge to meet the other boys. I was so thrilled that everything was back to normal and that things would finally settle down a bit.
