♡ Emily's POV ♡
Melissa and I walked down the stairs with our elbows linked. As we walked into the lounge I was first greeted by Harry.
"There she is!" Harry said with a big smile, opening his arms for me.
"Hi Harry." I laughed and fell into his arms.
I pulled away from Harry and found Liam sitting on the sofa. I slid into place next to him and he put his arm over my shoulder. It felt warm and safe to be in his arms again. I rested my head on his chest and he pulled me in closer.
I missed how he holds me. I felt so lonely until Kat had come in. At least she kept up a steady conversation so I was never bored. I just had no one to comfort me. No one to hold my hand when I was silently crying myself to sleep. No one to fill the emptiness in my heart. Now I have six people who I know will always love me and protect me from myself when I need it.
We sat around the lounge for a couple more hours watching the telly. Nothing good was on but the occasional football match that Niall demanded be left on. For the most part there was no steady conversations. There was arguing from Louis and Niall on football matches but that was about it. Nobody asked about my time at Maudsley, which I was grateful for.
"Wanna go out tonight?" Liam whispered in my ear.
I looked around to see if anyone heard it but no one responded. I raised my head to look at him and nodded.
"It'll be just us... We can go anywhere you want." He whispered again and kissed the top of my head.
After the last football game, or finally after we got bored, Niall started to complain.
"Niall are you bored mate?" Louis asked, holding back his laughter.
"Yeah. Couldn't you tell?" Niall responded.
"What would you like to do Niall?" Zayn asked.
"I don't know! Anything but this! It's so boring..."
"I could go for a swim..." Harry said raising out of his chair.
"I'm in." Niall stated, already heading upstairs.
"If everyone's going in I guess I'll go." Zayn said trailing after Niall.
Before I knew it everyone was getting into swim suits, all except for Melissa who was waiting downstairs. She still couldn't get her cast wet. I still feel really bad for having done that to her. It was partially my fault but it was really my mum who caused it.
I stood in my room with my bikinis laid out on my bed. I really didn't want to go swimming. I don't like people asking me why I wore clothes over my suit. It's not something that should bother me but unfortunately, it does.
I indecisively held both of my bikini's over my body, swapping back in forth. I hated how I looked in bikinis. I hated how swim suits looked on me in general. I sighed tossing both on my bed and sitting down next to them.
A knock on the door echoed through the silent room.
"Come in." I called to the door.
Liam slowly pushed his way in the door and closed it behind him. He was only wearing his swim trunks, his chest bare.
"Aren't you going swimming?" He asks.
"I don't know... I think I may sit this one out." I said shyly as he stood over me.
"Why?"
"I don't know... I guess I just don't feel like swimming."
He took his eyes off me to look at my bed where my bikinis lay and the clothes I was going to wear over it to the side.
