"Diane are you alright?", I heard Michael knocking the door as I brushed my teeth for the second time now.
Damn it, I woke him, I thought looking in the mirrow, checking myself.
"Yes, uhm... I'm fine", I called, "Just give me a few minutes".
I heard soft footsteps walking back to the bed and I knew he laid himself down.
I put my hair in a pony tail and turned off the light.
Slowly I made my way back to the bedroom.
"Are you feeling better now?", Michael whispered sitting straight up.
I jumped by his reaction.
"I thought you went back to sleep?", I mumbled looking at his direction as I laid myself back into the sheets.
"You really think I pretend there's nothing when you throw up in the middle of the night and just go back to sleep?", he replied, "Oh Diane...", I felt his arm wrapping around me as I cuddled myself against his chest, laying down.
After a while I closed my eyes and fell asleep again.

I woke up by the sunlight that shone through the window next to our bed.
"Good morning beautiful", Michael cheered and handed me a dinner tray with toast, eggs and orange juice on it.
"Good morning Mickey", I smiled and looked at all the goods on it, licking my lips.
"Mhh, you know how to make a woman happy", I chuckled and took the tray.
"Thank you".
"You're welcome", he smiled sitting himself besides me.
"Do you feel good enough for a hot air balloon ride today?", he said looking at me as he tied his shoe laces.
My face lid up.
"A hot air balloon ride?, are you serious?", I nearly screamed.
"Yes?, but if you don't feel fine, I'll cancel it, no pro-".
"No!", I cut him off, "That's so freaking cool, I never was in an hot air balloon before", I jumped off the bed exited hugging him.
He giggled, "And you're feeling better?", he asked.
"Yes, much better", I smiled.
"I booked it for the afternoon, so take your time and make yourself ready, ok", he smiled walking off the bedroom.
I ate my breakfast and as I was about to bring my stuff to the sink I felt the weird feeling in my stomach again.
Everything dropped to the floor and shattered in pieces as I ran straight ahead to the bathroom.

"Diane what are you doing?", Michael stood right before me looking down.
"Uhm I dropped the tray I'm sorry", I appologized as I swept the last pieces of glass in the scoop.
"Sweetheart, really I think it's better when we go to see a doctor today", Michael said helping me up from the floor.
"Michael... I already told you, everything's fine, it was just a mistake", I said annoyed.
"Why are you so stubborn?"; he mumbled walking out of the kitchen.
I rolled my eyes because I cleary heard him though.
"I. am. fine.", I yelled at him as he turned around arching his brows before walking off completely.

I made sure that every piece of glass was in the trash bin as I grabbed some clothes and made my way to the shower.

As I stepped out of the shower I noticed Michael looking through the keyhole watching me as he started to giggle.
"Michael!, get the heck away from the door", I yelled as I threw a towel towards the door.
"Outrageous", I mumbled, "Just wait dude".
I dressed myself and grabbed a glass that I filled with cold water.
Then I left the room.
"Michael where are you?", I called.
"Here I am", his voice came from the kitchen.
"I want to show you something, could you come, please?", I said nervously hiding the glass of water behind my back.
"What's going on?", he asked as he walked towards me.
"Well Mickey", I replied, "I've noticed that you enjoyed a rather good view of me through the keyhole, didn't you?".
He started to laugh, "Uhm, well I-".
"And so I thought, I'd give you what you want", I said biting my lip and hiding my laugher as good as possible.
His eyes got big as I showed him the glass of water.
"What do you want with this?", his confused look told me everything.
"That's for you", I said and immediately throw the whole amount of water in his face.
"What the?...", he coughed wiping the water off his face.
"Oh you'll get it back", he called grabbing my waist as he started to tickle me.
"Ah!, no stop... HEY", I screamed laughing like a maniac.
"Revenge is soo sweet", he chuckled letting me go.

In the afternoon we hopped in the car and made our way to the hot air balloon area.
I felt this strange feeling again but I wouldn't ruin Michael's day so I kept myself silent.
Just don't mess it up, Diane, I told myself and looked out of the windown of the car.

"Hi, I'm John", he replied stretching his hand out to me, "I'm your guide today".
"Hello, I'm Diane", I smiled taking his hand.
"You know I'm a little afraid of heights, Michael", I turned to face him.
"Don't worry, if you want I'll hold your hand", he smiled soft.
I started playing with my fingers as I got more nervous with every minute that passed.

As we got in the basket the first thing I did was to grab Michael's hand.
He giggled and wrapped his arms around me from behind as he laid his chin on my head.
"Nothing will harm you, as long as I'm with you, ok?", he whispered and tightened the embrace.
I tried to calm myself as I dared to look over the edge of the basket.
The view we had was incredible, the higher we got the better everything looked.
"Everything looks so tiny", I said exited watching the houses and all those people from above.

After two hours John made everything alright to land the balloon safety so we could get off it.
"Thanks again, man", Michael smiled waving John as we walked back to the car.

Back home I quickly made myself a hot cup of tea, stripped off my clothes grabbed a blanket and went straight to bed.
"I'm off for sleep", I called as Michael entered the bedroom.
"Did you enjoy the day?", he replied, "It seems like I annoyed you with this".
"No, no, it's just that I don't feel good, that's all", I said.
"The day was amazing, thank you Mickey".
I smiled wrapping the blanket around my upper body as I felt Michael's arms around me.
"Good night", I whispered as he kissed my cheek.
