The blood rushed down my legs just like waterfalls, and I wasn't even able to think of what to do at this very moment.
"Mom!", I screamed trying to stop the bleeding as I heard loud footsteps rushing by.
"What' wrong?", my mom asked not even knocking on the door but right burst into this horrible situation.
"Oh. My. God.", she looked all over me wide eyed and a fear stained expression made it's way across my mom's face.
My whole life shattered right in front of me as the blood kept rushing down.
~4 Years Later~
"And Sunny?", Sina smiled a crocked grin as she handed me the cup of tea.
"What?", I asked knittering my eyebrows as I watched her taking a seat beside myself on the couch.
"Aren't you exited about tomorrow?", she asked annoyed and taking a sip from her cup.
"Oh well...", I stared down at the boiling water of my hot tea.
"A little I guess, I mean it isn't a big deal, is it?", I shrugged my shoulders looking at her.
"It isn't a big deal?", she imitated over dramatically my reaction and replied, "It indeed is a big deal sweetie, you're turning twenty - one tomorrow how can't you be exited?", she chirped.
I opened my mouth to speak but before I was able to she interruped me.
"Hold on", she waved her hand right in front of my face as I shot her an irritated glare.
"You're gonna freak out when you'll unwrap your gifts tomorrow", and with this she left me with a total confused self as she stood up and walked away.
"Wait what?", I asked blinking several times.
"You'll see", she said and disapeared in the kitchen.
"Hey I don't want any expensive presents, ok!", I stated running after her.
"Sunny I promise you", she turned around brushing over my blonde soft curls, "I won't give you any expensive present", she giggled and continued to clean the dishes.
I rolled my eyes and help her.
~ The Next Day~
"Happy Birthday Diane", my mom sang as she made her way into my bedroom lifting up the blinds allowing the bright winter sun to attect my still sleepy eyes.
"Get up my dear or else I take those gifts along with myself", she cheered happy.
I giggled and crawled out of those mess of sheets.
"Ok here I am", I said waving with my hands and brushing my complete tossed up hair off of my face.
"Then again, I wish you a very happy birthday Diane", my mom spoke as she embraced me tight and lovingly. Nothing feels better than a pleasant hug from my mother.
"Thank you mom", I breathed into her hair.
I smiled and looked at the smallest one, so I decided to open this at first.
"I wonder what's in it", I mumbled unwraping the shiny wrapping paper.
"Go on and find out", she giggled trying to hide her anticipation.
"You are completely insane", I almost gagged in my own spit as I saw what it was.
"I take this as a 'Thank you I like it' answer", she smiled and looked at me with big eyes.
"Of course, thank you so so much mom", I cheered as I looked at the ticket for a flight to the USA.
"By the way I wasn't the one who came up with this idea", she explained.
"It was Sina, she thought now that you're old enough it would be a suitable present".
"And she was more than right", I smiled a bright smile from one ear to the other.
"Great", my mom said and with this she left my room leaving me by myself unwrapping present after present.
In the evening I prepared everything for my guests.
So I took the dishes and some candles out of the cupboard and started to decorate the table just as I like it.
"So and here's your cake honey", my mom came up behind me and placed the cake right in the middle of the table.
"Mmm my favorite one, thanks", I hum licking my lips.
"No problem", my mom winked at me, "Do you have everything for now?".
"Yes, and thanks again for helping me", I smiled.
And just as she wanted to say something the sound of the door bell hollered through the house.
I gave her a quick smile before rushing down the hall and to the front door.
I opened the ebony painted door just to find two of my close buddies standing almost awkwardly silent behind it.
"Welcome you two", I cheered just seconds later as I saw them.
"Get in", I motioned as both followed my order.
"Happy birthday", they said in union.
We made our way along the hallway straight to the living room with the covered coffee table ready to serve all hungry needs.
"Looks great", Sina said putting her flowers into a flower vase next to the televison.
"They're for your mom sunny", she stated and handing me her gift, "And that's for you".
"Well you already knew what I bring along", Heidi shrugged with her shoulders and placed the round candleholder down on the table.
"Thank you both", I said as we all took a seat.
"Did you already saw your main gift?", Sina asked after a while as she shove another piece of cake down her throat.
"Yes and I don't know how to thank you".
Heidi looked at me, "I was in it too", she smiled, "We thought it'd be a good idea when we collect together for it".
"Yeah in just two days you're going to meet Michael again", Sina smiled, "What do you think?".
"I'm not quite sure", I said worried raising my eyebrow.
"I've changed alot through the last few years".
"He probably can't wait to see you also", Heidi said as she sipped on her coffee, "Don't worry".
I really hope she's right...
