The Next Morning

"Honey wake up", my mom grabbed the blanket and ripped it off of my bed.
"Damn what is it?", I blinked totally tired.
"Wait where is Michael?".
"Michael?", she questioned.
"What do you mean Diane?".
I looked down on myself followed by my hair to touch.
I freezed in disbelieve, than jumped up quickly.
"What is wrong Darling?", my mom stepped aside as I headed to the large mirror on the wall.
"I look completely normal?", I whispered wide eyed, touching every inch that should at least be a little different when you come home in the middle of the night, soaked through.
No smeared mascara around my eyes, not the smallest stain of hair that was fizzled up, not even wet or dump clothes or anything like that.
My view swept to my moms direction.
"Uhm mom..", I began.
"When did we came home last night?".
"What do you mean 'we'?", she asked knitting her eyebrows.
"Don't make a fool of me, where is Michael and when did we came home last night!".
"Honey you were in your room the whole evening, you said you wanted to be for yourself and as I checked in the meantime on you - you were already asleep lying in your bed".
"So I don't wanted to dissturb you and closed the door", she spoke.
My eyes widened.
"That means I didn't left the house at all?".
"No, you were here the whole time".
"This can't be real", I mumbled, heading to my phone on the desk.
"Could you... uhm please leave for a second I have things to make clear", I said to her as she understood my situation.
"Sure honey".

I need to call Sina.
Right before I wanted to hit the 'call' button a message popped up:

Diane!

Please come over, I think this will be necessary for all of us!

Sina

Oh dear I hope they both didn't broke up.
I grabbed my bag, stuffed my phone and my keys in it and went outside to settle my bike.
"Mom, I'm off to Sina, it won't take long", I yelled as I rushed by.
She was kneeling on her plantbed along the house side.
"Be careful darling", she waved.

A bounch of cars that came along my way to their flat blasted out loud Michael's music.
It gave me a good but a strange feeling at the same time.
Nice that so many people blast his music, I wonder why - oh maybe he finally got his own
holiday.
The thought made me giggle.

Completely out of breath I reached their door, knocking and in the same way adjusting my wind tousled hair.

Sina slowly opened the door, sniffing and looking terrible.
"What's wrong dear", I asked shocked.
"Come in, you need to see it", she greeted me in.
"Ok..", I said confused.
"I'm sorry for the mess, but here", she pointed at the TV screen.
"It's everywhere in the news now".

I sat down and listened to the reporter.
"We're here in the south of Central Valley, California where Michael Jackson's privat jet crashed down in the morning due to a heavy thunderstorm last night".
My jaw dropped as I held my breath.
"Our followed investigations made clear - no one in the machine survived the horror crash", she continued.
I bursted out into tears the second I heard it.
"Is it that you wanted to show me Sina?, Michael is dead?".
"I am so sorry Diane", she sobbed.
"I can't believe it", I cried out loud as she took me in her arms.
"We're now switching to Teddy Riley, the producer of his upcoming album 'Dangerous'".

"Thank you Eileen, I talked to him last evening and wanted to discuss if it's necessary to fly right now, you know we talked that he wanted to make things clear between him and this girl - I think her name was Diane".

My head turned quickly back to the screen.
"If you're watching this right now - Michael wanted to visit you to make things clear, he was furious to see you again", Teddy explained.
"He loved you with all of his heart".

I sunk down on my knees as I remembered my dream, everything felt so real even his words he never really spoke to me.

Thank you for visiting me one more time, even though it was just imagination.

The End.
