*A few Months Later*

I was in my office, deep in thought when the phone rang.

Honestly I was relieved to stand up from my desk, leaving the endless emails to read and fix the errors on the latest letter from my boss.

Only as I stood up I found that the phone was not in its proper place on the charger in the center of my bookshelf. I walked past my great book shelf and out the door of my office, following the sound of my phone while thinking of different ways to keep my phone in my office.

I could just place a string on the end of the phone and connect it to the charger, or I could just tell Cody my phone is off limits. A light smile came to me as I wondered how long that would last.. not very long.

Cody doesn't like strict rules which are the things that I grew up learning about. While I follow strict rules, Cody likes to bend them and sit on them and see how long it takes for them to snap.

I found the phone by the coach next to Beth's high chair. Cody must have been on the phone while feeding Beth during breakfast.

Looking at the screen, I was surprised to find the phrase : Horrid Sister-in-Law, gleaming on the screen. Cody obviously changed the name in the phone to "help" me. But although he tried, the question still came to me.

Which one?

"Hello?" I asked politely from my line.

"Oh God where the fuck is Cody if he didn't answer the phone?" The woman's voice asked not to politely from the other end.

My question was solved from before. It was Elle. Elle was calling. If she was the "Horrid Sister-in–Law than who was Zoë listed as?

"Good afternoon Elle. If you are wondering over Cody than I can assure you he is physically alright, although I am not sure mentally." I answered in my usual tone. Elle made a scuffled noise on the other end.

"You're a little late on that one Sara. I've been worrying about him mentally ever since he got married. But no this is not what I wanted to call about. He was over at my house about an hour ago." I looked down at the baby chair absent mindedly as I listened.

"Yes I know. He told me he wanted to see you all with Beth. What's wrong with your brother coming to see you?" I asked. Elle's answer was quick and right to the point.

"Ivy is gone and so is my stupid brother." My hand froze momentarily over where my fingers were carving the ends of the highchair and my eyes went to the ceiling.

"Oh God no." I muttered loud enough for Elle to hear.

"He left half an hour ago with Beth which I thought nothing of and now I was just about to feed Ivy her lunch when I noticed that the house was quiet and she was not in her play room." I frowned.

"Wait. It took you half an hour to realize that your baby was gone? Elle!" Elle made sounds of protests before I stopped her and told her I would call him.

"Good. The last thing I need is for Rob to come home and for there to be no Ivy."

I ended the call and walked back to my office, making sure to place the phone back in the charger before I walked over to the staircase and looked up.

It was true that although I didn't hear Cody come home, I was in the middle of working with my door shut. He could have easily snuck upstairs with both babies.

Slowly and quietly I started up the stairs and then walked down the hallway until I reached Beth's playroom.

Now that I was by the door I could hear faint talking through the door as well as the clattering of something in the background.
